"False advertising, roaches through entire room some dead many alive+various other bugs, got electrocuted by outlets missing covers plates. Entire room is stained with broken or destroyed appliances. Nothing had been cleaned for past several guests, do not book here as most booking site will not refund the booking. No placard for passing health and safety, went on a rundown for room before checking out "contractor" and it has broken every Texas health and safety code. Other visitors here while I was trying to get a refund where complaining of finding drugs hidden about their room. This place needs condemned"

"This by far is the worst experience in my many years of traveling. I drove 5 hours from my destination to San Antonio reaching about 2 a.m. and to my nightmare the front desk attendant was very uncouth and unprofessional. She had no idea of how to even check me in NOR cancellation policy of the OYO hotel. I was charged $20 dollars for the TV remote control that up till date as of 02/12/2022 has not been refunded into my account. Countless, calls to the front desk with promises my money will be refunded. As if that was not enough, the room was dirty and sheets smelled as if they had not been washed. I could not imagine spending the night in such a dirty place. I went to ECONOLODGE across the freeway and paid for another hotel room. The room there was clean, neat and the front desk attendants were professional and helpful. I will NOT recommend anyone of my family or friends to stay at the OYO HOTEL. I it a 1 star rating simply because the screen wouldn't allow me proceed to the next screen."

"Management thinks if the room looks good it’s clean. Rooms were good but restroom tubs were filthy. First room given the tub had mud in it. Went to front desk and management apologized and said she been out of work for month. She gave me another room and told me it should be clean. went to go check it and the tub was filthy, I could rub my finger on it and collect dirt. I believe it’s the chemicals they use to clean, they probably use the cheapest restroom cleaner. There so many signs at front desk about policies, they have surveillance 24/7, and if you need a refund from website you must call to verify refund, & you must come to front desk within 10 minutes to get refund. What I was trying to explain front desk is I was making sure I could get a refund with website because if I couldn’t then I would need to stay there. Management said I shouldn’t have called website and she could of cleaned it for me. I asked to clean the first room, but why would I waste her time and mine when the room should be clean. She told website to refund me for the second night but not the first . She also stated I couldn’t stay there that night because I called website to get a refund and made her business look bad. First off we got the room for the pool and the pool was empty, they are remodeling the damages done, and it was simply filthy in the hallways and I can’t imagine the restrooms being clean. I never said anything disrespectfully until she said I can’t stay there and she would bring someone to escort me . I didn’t want to waste her time while I was on the phone with the website just for them to tell me no. She accused me of lying but they clearly will see me not be in those rooms for more than 10 minutes. Management clearly has no skills nor cleaning skills. I believe her and her husband run the place. Management was so bothered by the fact I called website to get a refund , she was starting to say “I was trying to work with you”. I even thanked her for that but I’m not going to stay in a hotel with a filthy tub when that’s were I bathe my toddler. Clearly if it’s good enough for them it should be good enough for me . I’m getting my full refund after they couldn’t get ahold of office. New Management here is way out of their heads. Forgot to mention I had to pay $50 deposit . I’m sure I won’t get it back even tho the room was untouched and I returned key and control. But only time will tell."
