"This is the only hotel I've ever seen that photocopies your payment cards with a document scanner. We booked this hotel for the convenience of being close to the Alamo for a day trip. It was a cheap deal that was too good to be true. If you are booking through a travel agency, make sure you are aware of the fine print, which states there is an additional $50 fee, per room, due on arrival, to get your key card. Additionally, be prepared to prove how many rooms you ordered. Secondly, when we tried to pay the fee with our debit card, we were asked for three separate forms of ID. One room had the A/C turned off and never cooled out throughout the night. The dresser was also falling apart. The other room was in similarly bad shape with a beat up dresser, as well as rodent feces on the bathroom counter. Additionally, this room only had one washcloth and two hand rags for the bathroom."

"If I could give half a star, I would. Just about the worst place I've stayed at. Room smelled funny and was dirty. Had to clean the bathtub before showing. Hairs and stains in the bed. Had to ask for clean bedding / linens and pillows, of which they only provided 1 pillow to replace 4. The pictures online are outdated, and not to mention that the ad said breakfast included but wasn't. The only reason I did my own cleaning and stayed 1 night was that I couldn't get a refund. UPDATE: After further discussion with hotel, refund was given at 2:30 am."
