"I have been a patient at this clinic for a few years now and I have a pleasant enough experience with my primary care physician. However, my complaint is not about the physician, but about the way they handle calls and appointments. I’ve never had such a frustrating experience with any other medical clinic or facility. It is very difficult to make appointments or cancel them online or by calling the clinic. For example, even when you call to cancel an appointment in advance, they still count that as a missed appointment!!! It looks like they don’t even check their voicemails or messages. And on more than one occasion, I have called the clinic to make an appointment for myself, and I was transferred to voicemail, but nobody called me back to help me make an appointment, even after I left a message for them and told them that I really need to see my doctor. So I almost always have to call two or three times to get a hold of someone that could help me make an appointment over the phone. The same is true for following up with test results or if you want to talk to the your doctor’s nurse. They have admitted to being short staffed, but this is impacting the quality of care that their patients are receiving. I am considering changing physicians just because of the way they handle calls and appointments ."

"This place is a freaking joke. My PCP is closing their practice so I have to find a new PCP. I found one on the MCH website that said they were taking new patients, so I called and the first question was "What is your insurance?" When I told them, they said, "Oh, we're not taking any new patients for that insurance." They transferred me to the main number to find a doctor that *is* taking my insurance, so I chose one and made an appointment. I showed up at my appointment today and the person at the front desk gave me a hard time because my *new* doctor's name isn't on my insurance card, and they told me it would be treated as out of network. Who changes their insurance card to add the name of a *new* PCP that they've never even seen before? Also, parking is $6 and they do not validate parking. EDIT: After I cooled off, I called my insurer to find out how to get a PCP name on my card because I couldn't find the option on their website. The insurance helpdesk told me that (a) I don't need a PCP name on my card because I have a high-deductible plan and (b) because of that, there *is* *no* *way* to get a PCP name on my card, so there's no way I could comply with the MCH front desk person's unreasonable demands. EDIT 2, AFTER CLINIC'S RESPONSE: Hey, I see you "recommend the 1st step for individuals choosing a new provider is to contact our Nursing Administration Office directly ... to inquire which doctors accept specific insurances." Actually, I did talk to the NAO. They're the ones who gave me the names of the two doctors who supposedly were open to taking new patients with my insurance. So even your own NAO doesn't know what's going on."

"Delivering Food and was given incorrect Information to deliver food. The Valet gentleman who refused to give me his name or the name of the company her worked for was very aggressive In speaking to me when I simply asked a question where to deliver the food if I couldn’t park my car to the side while delivering. He was raising his voice and I asked if he could please not talk to me in that manner. I advised the client asked me to meet them at the lobby in which she was sitting ( the concierge). What took 5-10 minutes, it could have been avoided if I walked in and simply handed the customer her food and left in under a minute. I have received some of the most discriminating and aggressive comments from dropping off a bag of good! I have never experienced such hate more than here in the Houston medical district with these valet men! I’m disgusted and will be reaching out to someone higher up! If I was a white woman I wouldn’t have been treated in the manner AT ALL. I’m seeking legal counsel"
