Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - Downtown - Market Square

"So upon arriving to the place I was greeted with a smile and immediately helped with checking in. Though this motel is a 25min walk from the convention center and looks like the neighborhood might be dark, it is indeed not! It was quiet, comfortable and totally worth the price. My room had a refrigerator!! Super glad I booked at the rate I got!!!"

"Nice place, but there's no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Luckily the nice lady at the desk heated up my spaghetti in the microwave in the back of the office for me. But when I went back later to have her warm up some egg rolls, it was some dude. And he left them in the plastic bag while they got zapped, so they came back all soggy and soft. C'mon people. Egg rolls are supposed to be crisp. You think they'd know how to do their jobs correctly. Garsh. 5 stars"

"I really recommend the motel 6. Starting with the service of the staff and their friendliness. The hotel is well located in downtown san Antonio and is also very safe. In addition to being very quiet, you can rest very comfortably with the excellent heating and the cleanliness of the room."

"I know what to expect at a Motel 6 but this one has not been good. Counted at least three (live) small roaches in my room, furniture was damaged, and the liner for my ice bucket was sticky. We couldn't use the hdmi port on the tv and I've never stayed at a Motel 6 that didn't at least have a mini fridge and a microwave, but the room had neither. I looked over the bed and there was a long hair under the pillow like the sheets hadn't been changed. Like I said, I know what a typical Motel 6 is like, but this one was just gross. The location was really convenient but the convenience didn't make up for everything."

"Rooms are clean, plenty of towels if you ask for them, they have toiletries if you ask for them, cameras everywhere for safety. We will be coming back. Much less expensive than the La Quinta Inn across the street from Market square. The walk to the market square is about 3 minutes or less. Very simple walk. McDonald's is next door, so you can get coffee and snacks and so forth for there. There's also Walgreens just next door there as well. Highly recommended. Very pet friendly."
