"Custody case. Didn't even inform us of court dates. Rude as can be including passing gas in first meeting. After paying the initial amount kept asking for more money and refused to accept a payment plan. Just awful"

"Very unprofessional lawyer!!! Went months without returning my calls regarding my divorce. My case dealt with not only my divorce but me trying to protect my children from my abusive ex-husband. Eric disregarded my concern for safety for my children and myself. Eric forgot court dates on days we had to show up in court, other times he was very late to court. He was late to our mediation. When he did arrive we sat in mediation for 6 hours and the majority of the time he kept falling asleep. He was snoring when he fell asleep too. He charged me full price even though he slept through most of it. At the beginning of the mediation I asked Eric to see if someone could make sure my ex did not have his gun on him because I was fearful for my life of him and when Eric asked my ex he did it in a way that mocked my concerns for safety. I had to consult with the Kentucky Bar Association on how to best handle Eric and how unprofessional he was when handling my case. I would HIGHLY NOT recommend using his services and those who have had issues with his inappropriate and unprofessional services, also contact the Kentucky Bar Association."

"I met and paid Mr. Grinell in January 2017, it was April before he filed for divorce, it's now September and my case is still active and nothing has been done or filed since April. The real kicker is he was never very good at communicating with me about my case but now blatantly won't answer my phone calls, I've been calling for 3 months, leaving messages to no avail. Lastly, this is a non contested divorce at this point, my husband had agreed to all of my terms but I can't even get in contact with my lawyer so we can move forward. I would say take your time in picking an attorney and be very careful who you choose."
