"Enjoyed our stay! The space is cozy & the property is beautiful. Hot tub was an excellent way to relax after hiking in the surrounding areas all day. Note there is no WiFi and our cell service wasn’t great — this is attractive to me (I like to disconnect), but some people might not like it. They were very clear about this before booking."

"My wife and I had such a relaxing & peaceful stay at the Bandera Stronghold cabin. We enjoyed spending time at the creek behind our cabin, our dogs loved the wide open space, but still felt very secure about letting them explore the area. The cabin was cozy, we used the kitchen a lot to make our meals and the porch was perfect to enjoy the views. Tricia was kind and very helpful, the process was very easy from the beginning from booking ,directions and she would mssg us for updates. The area is so tranquil, seeing deer walking around and tons of birds by the bird feeder and hearing goats far away was the perfect getaway from the busy daily routine in the city. highly recommend !!"

"For what we saw and experienced the rates/ prices are high. As we turned onto the property it was clear that the entrance is not made for big trucks. We were also not impressed by the several piles of trash, washer/dryers, and junk on one side of the property. Weather this is the neighbors yard or not if your running a business things should be tidy. As we approached the cabin the “driveway” was also not for big trucks. We sat on the side of the cabin and contemplated weather we should even go inside. We decided to and the only reason we stayed one night was because the cabin was tidy and clean. The hot tub was relaxing and clean as well. We walked around the creek and noticed the property was nothing like the website. Very misleading. The pictures are 10 years outdated. The property needs a lot of work and clean up. We decided to check out a day early due to the difficulty of entering and exiting the property. The cabin it’s self is nice and clean as well as peaceful. BUT we won’t be back!"
