"Felt he was thorough, explained things well, and, most importantly, the procedure caused no real discomfort. My only suggestion might be to upgrade the patient table and paper system. The table was stained, and I had to fight the paper when I turned over."

"This was my second appointment with Dr. Chu and although I had a scheduled appointment and I checked in early, I did not see him. He didn't show up. Evidently, Dr. Chu does not respect his patients time. At my first appointment I waited over an hour to see him. This time I was left in the waiting room 35 minuets. Five patient who arrived after my appointment time were seen quickly. When I inquired as to why I had not been seen the receptionist wanted to reschedule me. Dr. Chu was seeing patient who had been scheduled after me. I am a disabled military veteran and have seen several neurologist, even a specialist neurologist in the medical center. I had been hesitant to schedule this appointment with Dr. Chu due to the quality of his services during my first visit for a minor surgical procedure by my orthopedic doctor."

"I got a referral to see Dr. Chu from my PCP. I called the office and was told he only sees new patients on Fridays through Zoom meetings. I asked If I could see him since I don't use zoom but was told this was the only way. I asked why I couldn't just talk on the phone and was told to use zoom. I downloaded and tested the app but when the time came to check in I could see the receptionist but the audio was not working so we had to close the meeting and make a regular call. The receptionist wanted my information for my co-pay and told me I would need to log back in on zoom for my meeting with the doctor and he was very busy so I might have to wait a wile. Dr. Chu may be an excellent doctor but I cancelled my appointment and will find another physician where I can have a traditional meeting."

"I’ve battled with nerve root disorder for nearly 15 years, but never have I been told the specifics of where the pain actually originated from. Dr. Chu not only pinpointed the areas I’ve battled with, but gave advice I had never heard in 15 years. I waited to do this review because I had an appointment scheduled for a cervical injection and my specialist used the exact location chosen by Dr. Chu. I received immediate relief. In the past, it would take a few days before the pain subsided. Dr. Chu also advised me on two areas of concern that had not been identified by previous physicians.
