"Poorly ran facility. The office itself smelled like cigarette smoke. The facility looks a little on the dirty side. Anyway when I got there I waited a while to be seen. When I finally got to the back I talked to the tech about what was being done. He was like "give me a minute set up it takes a while for contrast" comes back and said their machine to pump the contrast is broken and has been broken for a while. He didn't even know I was on his schedule. He tried to get me to drive to their Galleria location. At that time I just got up out of the bed and canceled the appointment all together. I will never go to this place again over an hour waisted."
"Unprofessional staff, I went back in sep 2023 to do the nick, knee land back MRI, then my doctor request from me to go there and make a brain MRI and when I went there I told the guy there I'm here to do brain MRI then he refused and he told me you have to do the Knee, Nick , back and brain MRI's then when I tried to explained to him why I have to do them again since its already done 2 months ago, he Never able to listen to me and he teared me so bad and keep me doing 4 MRI's at that day which it takes over 2 hours and this is so bad to get such long time magnetic to my body, I already contacted my attorney and I filed this issue against them. Be away from this place ."
"Nightmare I call it. Start with dirty waiting area. Lady with white hair was my MRI tech and mas was she unpleasant. I was doing sitting down MRI which pretty tight area once u in there, after few minutes I was in a lot of pain so I moved a bit and she came out mad told me I can not move, I told her I m in pain that is why I moved, moving Fw, after few scans I couldn’t take it anymore so I moved and she was screaming SMH, at that point I told her I wanna get out but she won’t let me and say if u get out ima have to start over and it’s waste of her time, she kept going n I guess due to me moving cause of pain she was getting frustrated and cranky, I could her her scream lol boy was she mad, I press the button n told her I want out right now n this time I wasnt so polite. Pls pick a different place for your next MRI. Apologies for spell check n grammar mistakes."
"I regret to say that our experience with Upright MRI of Sugar Land, TX was deeply disappointing and stressful. My wife underwent the MRI to verify there were no significant medical issues, heightening our anxiety. We were repeatedly assured that the results would be ready within 2-3 business days. Now, it's Wednesday and we're in the doctor's office, only to be told the radiologist hasn't even looked at the images yet. It's 8 AM and we're being asked to wait until 9 AM for the radiologist to arrive. The level of disorganization and apparent disregard for the urgency and emotional toll on patients is truly unacceptable. My wife took a day off work for this, trusting that the reports would be ready as promised. To think of the emotional stress and anticipation we've been under, only to be met with this delay is inexcusable. If there were an option to give zero stars, I would."
"I recently had an unfortunate experience at the Upright MRI clinic that left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. The entire ordeal was marred by a particularly unpleasant interaction with the front desk staff, especially a Spanish lady whose behavior was unprofessional and rude. From the moment I entered the facility, I sensed an air of disorganization and indifference. The waiting area was cramped and untidy, and the reception desk appeared to be in disarray. Nevertheless, I approached the front desk with the expectation of at least a basic level of courtesy and professionalism. Regrettably, the Spanish lady in question shattered these expectations. From the outset, her demeanor was dismissive and unhelpful. She barely acknowledged my presence and seemed more engrossed in personal conversations with her co-workers than attending to patients. Her lack of attention was evident, as she repeatedly had to ask me for my details despite having already provided them during the booking process. As I attempted to inquire about the procedure and express my concerns, the Spanish lady responded with blatant impatience and annoyance. It was apparent that she had little interest in assisting me or addressing my apprehensions. Her unprofessional behavior left me feeling disregarded and insignificant as a patient seeking help. Furthermore, when I requested clarification regarding the billing process and potential insurance coverage, her lack of knowledge and unwillingness to seek assistance from a colleague only added to the frustration. It was evident that her priority was to get me out of her sight rather than ensuring I had all the necessary information to make an informed decision. Unfortunately, my negative encounter with the front desk set the tone for the entire experience at the Upright MRI clinic. The discomfort and stress I experienced during the actual MRI procedure were amplified by the lingering dissatisfaction caused by the initial encounter. In conclusion, my visit to the Upright MRI clinic was nothing short of a nightmare, primarily due to the unprofessional and rude behavior of the Spanish lady at the front desk. As a patient seeking medical attention, I expect to be treated with respect and compassion, attributes that were woefully absent in this instance. I strongly advise the clinic's management to address these issues promptly to avoid further alienating potential patients and tarnishing the clinic's reputation."
