"Best blood draw I've ever had, for an annual physical. It was all very professional and efficient, okay, they could have been a little more friendly, but still from the time I parked, to the time I left, was about 15 minutes. I arrived 30 minutes early, for my online appointment. I checked in online, from my car. I got a text in about 2 minutes, they are ready. A few minutes checking my insurance and paying ($120), another 4 minutes, wait 2 minutes, then blood draw (very professional, minimal discomfort, no bleeding) 3 minutes, pee in a cup 3 minutes. Done! On my way home."

"This post is to raise awareness on the experience I had here at Labcorp in Denton. Went in for blood draw and it had to be the worst experience I have had. The Lady seemed rude. But i didn’t want to make it worse by asking if she was having a bad day. After all, she’s about to put a needle in my vein. Well..she did just that! Pretty roughly. I will not allow her to draw my blood again. Unfortunately i don’t remember her name. But i don’t forget a face."

"Excellent nurses, I have rolling and small veins. I let them know that, and they got my vein on the first try. Awesome place.."

"About as horrific as a blood draw experience can get. I have a vasovagal response to blood draws and faint easily, so I tend to get fairly anxious about blood draw appointments. I drink as much water as I can, bring my own ice pack, and always ask to lie down to try and make it easier. The bedside manner of the phlebotomist I encountered today was extremely poor and only heightened my anxiety to the point of having a panic attack while she was sticking me. She was extremely patronizing and said “that’s probably why you pass out, you’re holding your breath.” Note: I have never had a full blown panic attack during a blood draw appointment before. But encountering three rude staff while already being very anxious/uncomfortable with blood draw just made me feel even worse. There was zero encouragement, zero compassion, zero understanding. And now I will feel even more fearful of future blood draw appointments. It’s not that hard to be kind to patients who clearly are struggling and doing the best they can. I am floored at the lack of empathy. I’ll never go here again."

"First I want to say I do NOT like needles (I know, most people don’t). I have a fear and get anxiety. Very few people have been great at drawing blood on me. I have to say today was a great experience. I didn’t wait long at all, no appointment just a walk-in. Front desk lady was very nice. David, phlebotomist, was funny and set me at ease. He took his time; he was compassionate also. I did not feel the poke AT ALL."
