"I can see why the reviews are so bad for this place. I've asked for a confirmation with instructions twice and received nothing. I didn't want to waste time going to the appointment only to be turned away because I didn't do something right. They're very concerned about my insurance, but nothing else. No one answers a phone. You have to leave a message and they might call you back days later. I didn't go to the appointment because they wouldn't confirm with me. I'll go somewhere else."
"Worst place for service. I came for an ultrasound with insurance and they told me my insurance was not working and since I needed that ultrasound I paid my self. The lady told me that I could get a refund afterwards. When I tried to get the refund they told me I couldn’t because I signed self paid. I came some years ago with my mom and same happened. There’s always problems when you come here."
"My family member is in a lot of pain. We took the xray at this place on June 29th early afternoon. According to Akumin staff, results were supposed to be sent to our doctor on June 30 or by July 3rd in the morning. No promised phone call on July 3rd, so had to spend the holiday in serious pain without results. No phone call on July 5th either. When we call Akumin at around 5 pm on July 5th to ask about the status of our results, they tell us results were sent to the doctor. We go to doctor's office and find out results were NOT sent. Already more than 2 extra days in a lot of pain due to Akumin both not following its schedule and providing misleading information!"
"Personally, I had no issue with this facility at all! Front office staff was mega sweet along with my radiologist. He definitely made the whole process easy and calmed my nerves by having a conversation with me. Mask were required which didn’t bother me and could understand why they allow only the patient to come in due to safety precautions for COVID enforced."
"I was pretty shocked at the reviews before going into my appointment. I, however had a great experience! I spoke with two different front desk employees before my appointment and they were both very nice. Going in there, my wait time was minimal. My ultrasound technician was amazing! Super sweet, very personable and made me feel very comfortable! I would absolutely go back here for services!"
