"My wife and I were on a bike trip to Carlsbad NM. My wife got very sick from the heat so we stopped at Budget Inn I explained my situation the owner went to a room and turned on the AC before I even checked in to make her comfortable and plenty of ice. I can say that I will stay there my next trip through. The owner's were fantastic and a great help."

"This price for this hotel is entirely too high. I paid $75 for a single person non-smoking room. The quality of the accommodations are more in the $50 range. Check-in was poor at best. It was still daylight when I checked in yet they only use the night check-in window. Same situation in the morning when I left. The furnishings are tired and well worn. However, the bed was comfortable, even if it was hard to get into due to it being so high up. When I went to take a shower, the shower curtain rod fell on my head not once, but twice. The water pressure was horrible. The soap and shampoo left a lot to be desired and were just pouches with about 1/2oz of product. The hotel backs up to a truck stop yet I didn't hear the trucks. I did hear a lot of road noise though. Overall I was not impressed and I probably wouldn't stay again."

"I travel for work, so I always look to save a little money by skimping on the hotel which usually means I'm in some sort of insect infected room that has no working utilities. But here at the Budget Inn I got both a great price with a nice clean room that was a pleasure to come home to after a long day of work. The owners are really nice people who would work to provide me with anything I asked for or needed help with. I have currently spent 6 weeks here and would recommend it to any one else who is looking for a nice budget friendly place to stay."

"Checked in and met a very friendly couple who welcomed us to Hereford. We got the last room available, having reserved beforehand. We were tolded that the room had been renovated. Upon entering the room we were impressed. The room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed our two night stay."
