"I'm always on the lookout for crafts people. I was so fortunate to find Mockingbird Made. They are quite the Craftsman with authentic woods from the Hill country. They let me come in and smell the sawdust. It took me back to the days when my Uncle would let me into his woodshop."

"AMAZING store. If modern/rustic eclectic American is your style, be careful entering this store; you will fall in love. Lots of vintage photographs, wood coffee tables, shelves, chairs. They have a great variety of home decor items-- dinner napkins, blankets, throw pillows, trinkets-- and fantastic staff. I will say this store is rather expensive due to the fact that Mockingbird heavily emphasizes buying local. When you buy a piece of furniture here, keep in mind the high quality and that you are supporting a local artisan. All of the pieces I have bought from Mockingbird are ones I will keep forever, unlike some of the furniture I have bought from IKEA or Target. Either way, you should at least drop by for inspiration. The space is beautiful and it gave me so many ideas for how to transform my living space."

"I am absolutely in love with this shop! It is beautifully curated and ever-changing. Each time I visit is a pleasant surprise, as they are continuously adding unique, vintage finds and new, handmade pieces from local artisans. In addition to having impeccable taste, the owners Jeff and Laura are lovely and always happy to share stories of the craftspeople behind the pieces. On top of the larger scale pieces such as furniture, they also have the most enticing, well-edited and well-priced collection of vintage treasures...perfect for unique gifts. This place is a must see!"
