"I had such an amazing experience at Houston Furniture Bank! They had a lot of inventory, with great prices. I worked with Gabby and she was so sweet and very helpful. I had the chance to speak with Oli (the Founder) and he gave me a tour of the facility. I also had a great experience with the movers. My furniture needed to be moved up a flight of stairs and the two gentleman I worked with (Paco) were great. The things they are doing to help the city of Houston are amazing. "I was given a pick up window of 1-2pm on a Friday. I received a call from the driver at 11:30am that day stating they’d be at my house in 25 minutes. I ran back home to be sure I was there for the pick up. After waiting for 2 hours, I called him back to see where they were. He apologized and said he could be here in 20 minutes. I then received a call from the warehouse telling me they were on their way at 1:45pm. They finally made it to my house at 2:45pm. Making a donation has never been so difficult! Sadly, this was my last donation to them purely because I lost three hours of my day waiting. If they had just kept the original window and then told me they were running late, I would not be complaining."
