"I can't say anything about the quality of their work. But their (Advanced Milling Concepts, child company of sorts) communication with me was poor at best. I called and left a message with David about a countertop replacement estimate. Never heard back. I called and got someone else finally. They asked me to take photos and send them in with a description of what I wanted done. A week later, no response. I e-mailed and asked if they were going to respond. I was told they were too busy and would not be able to do the project. It was a complete waste of my time. I mean, just tell me that up front before making me do a bunch of work. Anyway, I won't be calling the back ever. Maybe there products are good, but their customer service is not."

"An absolutely horrible experience this last time around. Don't get me wrong, David Solano and Solano Furniture Incorporated is a 3rd, going on 4th generation business, and the quality of their work is top notch. HOWEVER, the owner's communication is lacking; yet his ability to avoid your phone calls, texts and messages is superb and obviously well-refined over years of practice. He told me that it would take him four weeks to complete a desk and some barn doors. Well, seven weeks later he is ignoring my phone calls, texts and voice mails. I had to call him from numbers that he didn't know to get him to answer. He led me on, telling me that the shop was working on my items and that i would have them soon. A full three weeks later, i had to call him on ANOTHER line that he did not know (after sending several more texts and leaving a couple of voice mails) to let him know that i was canceling my order. He interjected and simply said that he "couldn't make my stuff". This order was not for my home, where i could have waited and lived without the furniture, it was for my BUSINESS. As a result of the avoidance and deceit exhibited by the owner, David Solano, i had to postpone and even cancel many crucial and lucrative meetings because my office was unfinished. As one can imagine, this cost my business THOUSANDS of dollars over a three week period of time. Overall, the quality of work is excellent. However, the professionalism of the business owner is lacking at best. I would NEVER recommend this business if you want to get your stuff on time. BUT, if you're willing to have someone over-promise and under-deliver on time, then Solano Furniture Incorporated is where you should go. Good riddance."
