"I never write reviews but chose to write one for Modern Furniture based on my recent experience. I just bought my first home, and I went to stores all around town. Majority of the stores I visited either had a small selection or their prices were significantly outside of my budget. Karen at Modern Furniture went over the type of furniture I needed and made every effort to accommodate my budget. The large ticket item was a large living room sofa. Although several in the store were under consideration, Karen also provided several catalogs with customizable options to select from. Karen ordered the piece for me and communicated regularly on delivery updates. The staff delivered and installed the sofa with ease. Since the largest part of my budget was spent on a sofa, Karen aided in selecting other pieces that matched. Thanks to her help I was able to decorate my new home within my budget. Based on previous negative experiences buying furniture for apartments from other stores, I wanted to leave this review thanking Karen and everyone at Modern Furniture. The process could not have gone smoother."

On my second visit on October 13, 2020, I purchased nearly $7,000 worth of one-of-a-kind Living Room and Office furniture I'm unlikely to find anywhere else anytime soon, and they've been worth every penny. When I had a problem with a unique floor-standing lamp in my purchase that stopped working after one week, Tommy quickly stepped in and ordered a replacement, no questions asked. "Think twice if you want to buy here, I bought a very expensive desk there, when they delivered it was scratched on the top of the desk, and they said they will replace the scratched part, 4 months later, I still waiting, I just moved to my house, so I start using the desk, after 1 week of using it, one piece of paint fell down, they said there is nothing they can do, and the only option is to send somebody to fix it at my own expense. They push a lot to pay it in cash, so I don't have coverage from my credit card. I've been buying a lot of furniture for my new house, and so far this is the worst post sale service. Just to add to my original review, the Desk was deliver to my NEW house, never was moved from there, what I told them is that I NEVER USED until I moved, they delivered in November, I moved 3 weeks ago, so after only 1 week the desk was damage More than 2 years has passed and they never deliver the defective piece"
