"I current live in LaSalette Gardens Apartments. A property owned by Winterwood and I love it. My apartment is darling and the building has so much character. The rent is based on income so very affordable and electric is included with the rent. I'll be here a year in April. But more importantly, I love the staff and the people here. Most of the tenants are friendly and always willing to lend a hand. Jodi, the property manager, knows what she's doing and does it well. I've never been greeted by her with anything but a smile and kindness. Maintenance has always been on top of things that I needed and the maintenance man, Shaun, is always friendly as well. I realize that every apartment complex is run by a different manager and maintained by a different person, but if you're considering LaSalette, don't hesitate."

"Subject: Warning to Potential Applicants - Having served as a Regional Property Manager at Winterwood Inc I am compelled to share a cautionary perspective for those considering employment. Despite achieving significant milestones, including a $10,000 raise within a year and maintaining a fully staffed team, my experience took an unexpected turn. Even though I had never been wrote up or given a coaching conversation. Regrettably, my tenure was cut short due to false accusations from a person close to my Asset Manager that led to unjust termination. This incident revealed a concerning lack of fairness and integrity within the internal processes. Experiencing a boss who abruptly cut off support, engaged in retaliation, and resorted to bullying before terminating me over the phone was a deeply disheartening and unprofessional ordeal. It highlighted a lack of ethical leadership and a disregard for employee well-being at its core. Filing a complaint before termination with HR/OWNER/VP and receiving no response also raises concerns about the effectiveness of the company's resolution process. A lack of acknowledgment can leave employees feeling unheard and may indicate areas for improvement in the organization's communication and employee support mechanisms. Prospective applicants should exercise caution when considering opportunities at Winterwood , as my experience raises questions about the company's commitment to fair treatment and professional integrity. I believe in transparency, and my hope is that this insight helps individuals make informed decisions about their career choices."

"I worked for this company for almost four years. Received an award on their behalf after my first year and a half there. Switched regionals a few times and never had any issues until the last regional came in. She wouldn't help she didn't have any answers. I had more answers than she did. She thought I wanted her job which i could have easily applied for but didn't, and she found any way she could to fire me(not answering emails which all were answered). Never been wrote up or anything(unlike others who have been written up fired rehired and made regionals) but this was after I requested to speak to someone over her. The person over her came to speak with us. Very next week she started harrasing me and only me. I checked before I jumped to conclusions. I asked to be transferred and was told she had to approve it and I had to apply for a new position elsewhere(which wasn't the case with other employees and would cause my pay to decrease) and a few weeks later bamn she literally danced her way in the office and fired me. Don't invest your time in this place if they aren't you're friends or family members you won't fit in. Dont ask to speak to someone higher up they will retaliate. She also proceeded to tell managers at other offices don't be like me and get fired with a grin which is very unprofessional. Higher ups need to speak with office staff occasionally and check on the behavior of supervisiors and their regionals."

"I worked for Winterwood at the Eastland Apartments in Evansville. I left there for multiple reasons. One being I was threatened by a male co-worker and nothing was ever done to make me feel safe or any disciplinary action taken against my co-worker. I was not properly trained for my job even though I had not done a leasing agent job before. My "property manager" hardly worked because she was too busy smoking for her 100th time of the day or talking to her boyfriend or adult daughter on the phone. I hardly got to eat lunch or go to the bathroom but got in trouble because applications weren't approved when I was working on 15+ applications at time. Terrible company to work for."

"Do not rent nor work for this company! They don’t care how they treat their employees they only care if you fix all their problems to make them look good! If your regional says you’re family it’s a lie. They only choose the people who’s willing to be mean and talk bad about one another.. they’ll false evicted you and accuse you of stealing to fire you then tell it to residents when it’s should be a confidential issue. They are the worst and under paid for all the expectations ! Let’s not talk about all the accounts on hold, the rude comments about the owners and their side ways of dropping properties!"
