"I've been with Westmoreland since the beginning. Anthony had a sign on the door Friday when I went in, stating as of Tuesday 2/6, they would not be filling regular prescriptions. My prescriptions were transferred to Kroger by opening on Tuesday, not giving me & many many others a chance to choose their own pharmacy. It has created a giant mess for not only Kroger but other pharmacies as they try & retrieve the prescriptions for everyone that did not want Kroger. Anthony told me he was not getting paid enough to cover the expenses for prescriptions, from insurance companies. I researched on the Internet for the demand for compound products as that will be his only prescriptions & discovered he had acquired a contract with a large company for the compound products last July. I sure wish he had given all concerned, more than a 7 day notice for those that read the Tribune. Because it has really caused a nightmare for many people as well as the other pharmacies, that are not getting phone calls answered. Not sure he realized how bad is it for his former customers & the pharmacies. Personally I feel disrespected. Letters or a simple text to all customers, would have been so much better."

"I have been a customer of Westmoreland on State street for several years now. They had always been so great! Yesterday, my doctor called in a prescription there as always. I never got a text or call it was ready. I call this morning to check the status, it transfered the call to kroger where Westmoreland apparently dropped all their regular scripted patients for. Kroger had no record of my script. None of them. I call Westmoreland back and press compound patient as the gentleman proceeds to inform me they are now compound only and not only don't have my prescription, but wouldn't be able to fill it now anyway... To not give your patents any notice I felt was very unprofessional. I am very extremely disappointed and now without meds today. I hope this helps anyone else this happens to because you will be calling around trying to figure out where your meds are because WML didn't give any notice. I'm very disappointed. I always loved WML pharmacy. :/"

"Love the Pharmacist at these locations, especially helpful when it comes to keying in the correct payment information with insurance. 4 stars though because the techs politeness is hit or miss at the New Albany location. What makes it 3 stars is the issue with not being able to look at scripts through different locations of the same business. Cody though at the Jeff location deserves 10 stars, he is amazing as well as helpful and forever friendly!"

"Just wanted to leave a quick review. Anthony and his staff used to be great when he had one small store but since he's gained success he nor his staff care about their patients. The only thing Anthony is worried about are the reviews that are written about his pharmacies. He will reply to this review in the next 12 hours. This place miscounted 2 prescriptions last year and one this year. They did make it right after going round and round with them. Then having them tell me they couldn't fill my medication (after having a cage put in my back) and that I couldn't pay cash I laid in pain for over 24 hours then they tell me I can pay cash. The reason I stayed is because Anthony called me literally begging me to please take off the review and stay with them. I've been with Anthony since 1999 and he used to be great with such a caring and professional attitude but this place has went downhill pretty quickly and Anthony is the main problem. He doesn't hold any of his staff accountable, he doesn't care if they talk to you worse than a dog. Heck he called me and cussed me cause I had a complaint. I guarantee he'll say that this did not happen and i did something to deserve it when there's absolutely no reason for me to lie. I just changed pharmacies. No big deal whatsoever. Smh. Just wanting to warn others before you have you meds called into this place."

"Let me just start by saying this review is regarding working here, not about my experience as a patient. I have been a certified pharmacy technician in and out of retail for 8 years (at every chain pharmacy you can think of) before I had gotten this job. While my ultimate deciding factor was in aspect that they do not offer insurance to their employees, the treatment as a new employee I received right off the bat from Anthony and other staff did not help. I was hired to work in their lab, and so to 'learn the computer system' they used, I was put in the general retail pharmacy to work up front, drive through, etc. Fine. The issue is, I am a pretty quick learner when shown how to do things in combination with doing them hands-on. However, multiple times, the employee 'training' me would leave me up front and go missing for an hour at a time during my *second day*. I went to bring this concern to Anthony as if this continued, I was just going to be in a cycle of not being sure how to do something, having to frantically find someone to ask because there was a patient on the phone or at the counter needing an answer as well in a timely manner, and upon finally finding someone who wasn't too busy to answer my question, having them just resolve the issue at Mach 9 without showing me how to do anything. He, verbatim, told me I was 'playing the victim' and had a 'victim mindset', asked me in a facetious demeanor if I 'knew what on the job training consisted of' (I do, actually, I have trained many techs as a senior technician in retail, it isn't what's going on here) and proceeded to straight-faced tell me that he didn't want me trashing his name writing a bad review. In my interview and beyond, he would throw out jabs to where I had come from prior to moving here as well. I recently moved from Portland, OR and he had nothing but horrible things to say while never having been there (everyone is crazy there, drug addicts, weak and soft snowflakes, etc etc) and made it very obvious that was his opinion of me as a person and an employee. As I am, I've found out, not the only person who has had a similar experience, I feel as though there is strength in numbers. Do not work here. No insurance for employees (why? It's in the healthcare field, offer health insurance), would not match an extra 0.50 cents an hour from what I was paid at my previous job but was in the process of gloriously expanding the building and it has luxury finishes on the interior, and there will be no support for you if you bring up a simple concern as to whether or not you will be trained at your job. There are plenty of better places to work than here."
