"I appreciate the positive aspects of my son's experience at Guidepost Montessori in Round Rock. Ms. Karla's influence in the toddler class was invaluable—my son surprised me by learning to use scissors at 22-months and counting in English and Spanish. While there were notable staff changes, Ms. Ana Maria has been outstanding as his Children’s House guide, maintaining effective communication, and updating me on my son's progress. My son was able to quickly pick up on his colors and shapes. He is currently working on his numbers and letters, and group work activities. I highly recommend Ms. Ana Maria. However, I encountered challenges with the new administration. A lack of notification regarding a change in an extracurricular activity timing was inconvenient, and a lack of events, such as spring and summer family gatherings, and the absence of engaging learning events. On a positive note, the new head of school, Tim, has been responsive and friendly, making positive changes in the school’s atmosphere. His presence has been a welcome addition, and I believe Guidepost is moving in the right direction under his leadership."
