"My son went to the magic dragon preschool in 2022 and at the time I didn’t realize how poorly our family was being treated here. My son was an extremely early talker, he has always played well with other kids and had many friends his age in the neighborhood. He struggled to make friends or feel comfortable to even speak the entire time he attended school there. Ms Amy would tell me that he never speaks and that he is too shy. I was constantly shocked because he is an extremely talkative and outgoing child. She consistently told me it was my fault because I didn’t take him outside enough and because he didn’t have any siblings. She would constantly make remarks about his discomfort being because I’m a young mom and once told me “all our kids are such leaders that your son just can’t compete” as another reason for his discomfort. My son would tell me t other kids bullying him and when I brought these issues up to Ms Amy she would tell me “no, the boy who you say bullied him is really gentle and kind. He must be confused.” They used to do video visits and I once heard my son being bullied by this kid in the background. Ms Amy once again tried to convenience me I was just being sensitive and blamed me for being an overly worried young mom. We switched schools and IMMEDIATELY my son was happier, made dozens of friends, and his new teachers told us over and over how talkative and outgoing he was. I wish I had trusted my gut earlier and listed to my son instead of believing Ms Amy every time she tried to convince me she knew my son better than I. I will say that the two teachers my son had, Ms Ashley and Ms Valerie were so kind and we loved every time we met them. My son would always say they were the only part he liked at school. It was clearly they truly cared and did their best and Mr Wong was so kind. But we were deeply disappointed with our experience with administration and the way the place was run."

"Have you ever heard of a day care expelling a 10-month old baby? Well, this happened to us. My daughter started in AACC when she was 3 months old. We love all the teachers who have been taken care of her for the past 7 months. However, all of a sudden, all her teachers decided to leave and there was no one else taking care of the baby other than the director (Ms. Amy). When I went to pick my daughter up the first day when Ms. Amy took care of babies, she told me that she couldn’t feed any milk to my baby. I was shocked that she didn’t notify me during the day but wait until when I picked her up. My daughter never had this issue before, and I was worried that the fact she didn’t take any bottle could be a sign that she was sick. She then asked me to show her how to feed my baby. I was surprised cause no other teachers ever asked me to show them how to feed the baby, but I did, and my daughter took the bottle and almost finished her bottle in 5 minutes. She then got very emotional and attacked me by saying very racial discriminate words that she regretted taking any Chinese baby and she thinks all the Chinese moms are weak and over-concerned. Next day, I got an email from Ms. Amy saying that she thinks my baby has feeding issue and she considered my baby as “an unnecessary burden” to all the teachers so that she must expel her. The email was beyond my understanding. My daughter has never had any feeding issue and her bottles are always empty when I picked her up. I have talked to all the teachers and none of them ever mentioned anything to me or in the daily reports they provided. My daughter is only 10 months old now and she doesn’t know too much what is going on. I will definitely report this to the licensing department and I hope neither of you seeing this comment don’t have to deal with this anymore."
