Travel Inn & Suites - Sikeston

"This is a great hotel for a great price! We typically stay with the Holiday Inn or Hilton chains, but this trip our funds were severely limited so we gave the Travel Inn a try to save $$. We were not disappointed! The customer service is top notch! Hotel was comfortable and clean. The best part is they have waffles for breakfast and the shower is definitely high enough for someone who is over 6 ft tall, which is rare in any hotel!"

"The only complaint and I know why I use to live in the area. This place had a major fire. They since reopened. The complaints I read isn't only part of the smoke smell. There was a lot of fire damage. I truly believe that 100 percent. I have asthma and copd. I was miserable the entire time. Now I don't blame the motel. Who ever was the contractor that went in and restored the place didn't replace everything. You can still smell the smoke damage. Me haveing asthma and copd affected me. I don't blame the motel. But feel Sikeston and contractor didn't restore the damage from the fire and it was a big one and Sikeston code. Rooms was clean. And appearance was nice. If you have lung issues do not a go to place. If you don't then I recommend. I know it is very hard to remove smoke damage without a complete clear and rebuild everything new. But I will give them 5 stars. That problem lays at the feet of contractors and code for lack of. You can smell the smoke damage from the fire."

"My family and I stayed at this hotel over Thankgiving weekend (2023)due to my mom being in hospital. Check-in was pleasant, I will give them that. But after that, that is all the good they get from me. My daughter left one of rings on dresser as we were in hurry to get to hospital, my mom was rushed there, during our time gone she forgot to put up the do not disturb sign so room got cleaned and when we arrived back her ring had been stolen. When I went to speak with the owners (at front desk)they proceeded to tell me they do not hire outside cleaners that it is their AUNT AND UNCLE who does the cleaning. I said okay check with them and I left my info to get ahold of me if found. Needless to say I have never been contacted. So my daughter lost her wedding ring I hope whoever has it they are loving it, I should have stayed with Drury, but I thought I would give this place a try. Don't let my mistake be yours."

"Clean fresh rooms. Shower is high pressure and hot, bed was clean and comfortable, but the best thing about this hotel is the staff. My truck was broke down and without a ride I was stuck waiting. They had no problem with me hanging out past check-out. They were extremely understanding and accommodating! Thank you!"
