"This daycare is absolutely wonderful!! My son has been going to this school for 3 years. My son is 3, they have potty trained him before the age of 2. My son knows how to write his name, knows his birthday, all colors, days of the week, speaks full sentences, shapes, all his months in order. I promise you as a very busy mother this daycare is dear to my heart, my son runs in school aswell as Asks to go. He adores his teachers. When we are at home his 2 designated teachers are all he talks about. When he gets to class they hug him and build his little confidence. They have the best hours. Mr and Mrs Henderson are the owners and also get in the classrooms and read, write and care for the babies aswell ( very hands-on). Everytime I pick my child up they are mopping or taking trash out. My sons classroom has never been is unorganized considering the age group. Some people might say something has to be wrong with this school but I would disagree only thing is you can’t bring children from 11 to 2 for naptime butttttt I wouldn’t personally want anyone walking in and out my room when I’m taking a much needed nap either crying and talking. So I respect the the rule in place. They offer piano lessons, have graduation programs for this kids, recreation comes to the school like the tumble bus which every Friday I have to hear “MOMMY CAN I GET ON THE TUMBLE BUS pleasssee!!”. When the kids go outside they get to play and listen to music and be free. Last thing they wear Uniforms the easiest most CONVENIENT thing on earth! THIS SCHOOL is great I can go on all day about my babies 3years and more to come."

"I am a 1st time mom and this is my 1st time using a daycare. With that said I don’t really have anything else to compare it to. This is a black owned business that is ran by the owners Mr & Mrs. Henderson. The owners and staff are all great people. Everyone knows everyone and they are very personable. I loved that the couple is spiritual and seem to really care about the kids. Their prices are great but I get the feeling that I am getting what I am paying for. They also have great hours for people who don’t work the standard 9-5pm My only issue with this place is they pay little no attention to detail and are very inconsistent. I’m not usually one to complain but it comes to the matter of my child it’s hard to let certain things slide. For the most part my child (infant) was taken care of. Here are a few of the things I experienced: 1. Since about week 3 of attending this place my child kept a runny nose 2. The child experience diarrhea that was contaminated from this place (several other kids had it too) 3. I purchase my child a chair to use (in order not to share germs) and I seen other children in it 4. When they would change my child pamper, they would leave the pacifier attached , therefore the pacifier was all over the changing station where other kids changed their diaper. 5. The pacifier was also dragged all over the floor (which is completely gross) 6. I have witness teachers in the infant room with shoes on (when they are not supposed to) 7. I have witness teachers walk outside the building with their socks on and walk right back in the infant room. (which defeats the purpose) 8. My child has come home with extra bottles, other babies bottles and has had missing bottle parts 9. Ms Henderson (without my permission) purchased formula for my child. 10. High turnover with infant teachers. 11. I have had milk gone missing as well as my child has went without being fed for several hours 12. I would get tadpole updates throughout the day in the beginning and now that has completely stopped. 13. The infant to teacher ratio was off some days 6 babies to 1 teacher. 14. When I 1st called to get information on this place the lady told me they would need shot records. When I went to sign up, I was never asked for shot records. I asked about 1 month later is that something that is needed, the response was “Oh yea”."

"U Matter Learning Center is AWESOME!!!! My daughter started going her a month ago when she was three months old. Her teachers are wonderful and treat her like she is family. The owners are personable and are there most of the time when I drop off or pick her up. Her being so young, her needs are different than another child her age. They customize her care to her needs on a daily basis. I cant wait for her to get older because the activities that the old kids look fun and educational. I LOVE THIS PLACE!"

"My daughter have been attending the school for about 2 years she loves her friends and teachers. It's a great school to have your kids transition into kindergarten. The hours has been a great benefit to my life and medical field hours."

"I have been living in Houston 2 months and this is the 3rd daycare my son has attended because I'm super picky when it comes to his care. He has been attending this center for a month...this place is super clean & super organized. Everything I hated about the other daycares I don't have to worry about here. My son who is a super active 2 year old does not run around and play all day which he did at the other two daycares....he completes learning lessons appropriate for his age, he goes to the bathroom regularly through out the day (he is potty training currently so this helps me a lot) and he has homework to complete regularly (his pull up is never soaked when I pick him up & he still has on the same clothes I dropped him off in which In my opinion shows that they are not letting him stay in a wet pull up so long that he soaks through his clothes)...I never have to wait 20 minutes for the center to locate his shoes or belonging before we can head home after I have worked 10 hours which happened all the time at a previous daycare. He eats good meals...and is provided with structure like walking in a straight line when moving from one part of the daycare to another which I love because the little people need structure..:.he also has to wear uniforms and even on fridays the kids are all in the same t-shirt... I can go on and on about this place but if you are looking for a place that is focused on learning and provides structure then this is the place....oh and the later hours are great too because I don't work a traditional 9-5 job :)"
