"We stayed at The Depot in late July/Early August. Two adults, two teens and 2 big dogs. We had more than enough space, we were happy to have a dog friendly location and packed our crate to bring with for our young dog. We were able to cook most meals at the house and grilled once as well. This location is close to Iron Furnace and Garden of the Gods. The couple that owns the property lives nearby and was very helpful with suggestions of activities and locations. You are a good distance from anything that sells food/gas after about 8pm so plan accordingly. If arriving at night it can be difficult to find even with the very good directions given due to the darkness and lack of GPS signal. The only con is you was on a worked farm and there was some harvesting activity while we were there. It didn't concern us but we have older kids and didn't have to worry about any of the machinery on the property."

"My significant other and I stayed at the owl's nest for 2 nights. I cannot complain about one single thing about this cabin. Everything was perfect, and it is the perfect size for 1 couple. The seclusion/privacy, amenities, views, proximity to other places...I wouldn't change anything. I highly recommend this place. We will most definitely book this place again!!!!"

"Nice cabin with amenities. Has a hot tub, large deck, and patio area. My only complaint was the water pressure of the showers. It's an efficiency system and felt like using the shower upstairs took a long time to wash the soap off. Ended up using the downstairs shower more because if this. Also, beware the stairs to they loft are pretty steep. Watch your knees and kids!"

"Loved the Owls Nest cabin! Perfect location for visiting Garden of the Gods, Rim Rock, Cave-in Rock, etc. My only complaint was the nonexistant shower pressure. Will definitely book again if I find myself in the area."

"Place doesn’t look bad. Beautiful views and very nice hot tub. Only thing we didn’t like about this cabin was that the toilet did not flush well at all and if you wanted to take a warm or hot shower, you had no water pressure. When I texted the owner about the issue and told her we only stayed one night instead of the 3 nights we had paid for because of these things, she never replied back or credited us on those 2 nights. No response. We won’t stay again. Owners were going out of town and allowed them to charge me on Dec 23rd. We stayed on the 27th. I was nice enough to allow the early charge. But at the end, ignored. Very unhappy about this more than anything."
