Marion Childcare University at Lake Arlington

"Please do your research on Texas State Ratio's for you child's age and keep an eye on how many children are in the classrooms when you drop off and pick up. Too many times I dropped off and picked up my infant and there was one provider in the room with too many children. This facility doesn't train their staff to 'feel comfortable' administering anything other than Tylenol to children. If your facility advertises that you can and will administer medications to the children enrolled, then you should take the time to train your staff properly to administer common medications such as inhalers/breathing treatments. In fact, it is a FREE training ONLINE that you can take. Teachers are on their personal cell phones, leaving their cell phones on tables and diaper changing stations. Teachers getting under blankets and taking a nap on the furniture while children are running around in the classrooms. Directors turning everything around on the parent making everything the parents fault/responsibility instead of taking responsibility for their own short comings. It's a shame that you can't report a facility for running classrooms under ratio because it is 'too hard' to staff since Covid. It's a safety issue! I am too happy that I pulled my child out of here. My child's safety comes before anything else, and they were DEFINITELY NOT safe here...."

"This was the first day care I have ever used. I’m actually sad that because we are relocating my son is having to leave this daycare. I really wish I was able to take this school with me because they treated me son with love and taught him so so much. My son was a shy boy when he started. He didn’t talk and wouldn’t play with kids. I was terribly worried and this school made it possible to get my son in track. Jessica I am going to absolutely miss you the most. You kept me informed and made me feel that my son was safe and he absolutely had so much fun here. Thank you so so much and I can only say good things about this school. Love you all and we will miss you all dearly."

She runs her new daycare centers with her husband and staff very professionally but with so much love that I can’t imagine sending these sweet little ones anywhere else."

"My niece and nephew attend Marion Childcare University and I have come to love this place and Mr & Mrs Marion. I pick them up frequently and noticed how clean the facility is and not to mention the friendly staff to not only myself but the children as well. They are always happy. Also I enjoy that Marion’s has a curriculum. A lot of childcare facilities do not have such thing and the children run around all day, but not here. My nephew starts kinder this year and they have already stated at his new school he is above his learning level and requirements needed for kinder. Wow!! Blown away.
