"Our daughter was having trouble breathing due to a cold , congestion and we had 3 hours more to drive to get home from vacation. The ER staff got her in and looked at and a nebulizer treatment all within an hour. They were very efficient , caring and kind."

"I would rate this hospital 0 if I could I went there yesterday evening because my primary care provider said that I have a large amount of blood in my urine and asked me if I was on my menstrual cycle which I knew right then she was concerned about it because I have already had my menstrual cycle for this month and they checked it there again and said everything was normal I flat out told them that's what my primary care provider said to do so I pulled my IV out myself because they didn't bother to even give me any IV fluids or pain medication to kinda ease the pain up a little bit so my suggestion is if you need emergency medical help I suggest not going here because they aren't worth the time to waste my suggestion would be carbondale hospital or cape girardeau or St. Louis Mo I know they got good nurses and doctors in St.Louis Mo for sure only reason why I know that is because I have doctors up there."

"I am so glad I ended up in this hospital!!! I was in the swing bed program and everyone I encountered was an extraordinary person!!!!! Even the chefs came to my room and asked me what I'd like to eat. The food was amazing and fresh fruit with almost every meal!!!!! The nurses the helpers,therapist, everyone I consider family!!! I was there 2 weeks and got the best care possible!!!!! They went beyond the call of duty 110 percent!!!! I live almost an hour away and hesitated going that far but it was soooooo worth it!!!!! Thank you to everyone who dealt with me!!!!"

"Had to go to the er concerning a medication and Dr hay was extremely rude about the topic. Definitely was not treated with respect. I asked a question and he proceeded to chew me out over it even after explaining it was something I didn't know. Also, a Burnett nurse in teal scrubs was quite rude as well. Some people there need to learn how to control their attitudes and how to treat their patients. Hannah on the other hand is an amazing nurse but the other girl I had tonight and Dr hay need to work on their patience and don't need an attitude"
