"I've always loved going here as it's a small walk from my house, I like to sit and read or mess around with my friends or take my little brothers. Sometimes there's some sketchy people around and during the summer I get catcalled and sometimes followed by men that are around there so I would definitely be vigilant and careful. If your at the baseball field you have access to City of Bardstown Wi-Fi and there's another little playground next to it with a zip line :P"
"Small but nice park. Safety is number one and we totally felt safe while playing in this park. Very well maintain and has a lot of space for playing, picnics, etc."
"4 features were added to the skatepark this year (and the 4 that were already there got nice matching paint jobs), but the park was covered with hundreds of shredded tire bits from the playground 100 feet away. I suspect little kids are doing this, but it should be stopped and swept or blown. It's dangerous. The new rails installed must not have been installed by actual users of the park. The round bar rail should be turned 90° and the Y-rail should be moved closer toward the tennis courts. Take it for what it's worth; I've been skating for 37 years and been to every skatepark in KY (over 70) and drive an hour from Lexington to skate the Bardstown Park."
