Kiddie Academy of Atascocita

"Our child has been attending Kiddie Academy for a little over a year. Ms. Padma in the New Beginnings 1 room was absolutely excellent, and I want to sing her praises. After transitioning out of her room, we have seen a continual decline in care quality and our child’s behavior between rooms. Kiddie Academy has seen immense staff turnover with a total of 10 different teachers across the 3 rooms. The transition to the 3rd class, Discovering Me 1, was extremely difficult. They were frequently bitten and our calm toddler suddenly became extremely cranky and hated drop off. In the next months, they began to pick up the biting habits from others, and we are now struggling to correct the learned behavior. The teachers are unprofessional, and the classes are unstructured and chaotic with loud over-stimulating music blasting constantly. The environment is not educational like they advertise and feels more like babysitting. The children just wander around the class with little direction and guidance. All the communication skills they’ve learned have been things taught at home. We’re glad to unenroll them now before going to the older classrooms where I’ve seen teachers scream at the children numerous times and we expect care quality to continue to decline as they progress."

"Some of the teachers there are wonderful. The new beginnings room was amazing. However, others are super unprofessional and will call your kid “mean”, “clumsy” and “terrible”. High staff turnover and teacher seem unprepared. When you tell the administrators they will gaslight you and tell you that we “all know they meant it kidding”… will force you to pay for a week that your kid doesn’t even attend even though you give them ample notice. Don’t be fooled by the guise of educational learning. The classes are chaotic, loud and overwhelming. Also, when you go to leave they will kindly send your kids stuff home in a trash bag! Pretty much the microcosm of how they feel about you and your kid."

"My child has attended this daycare for about a year and a half. When deciding on a childcare facility, I am not the easiest to satisfy and I take many things into consideration, including reasearching daycare violations with the state. I can say I am very pleased with my child’s learning experience here. He has learned so much. Like most daycares, teachers come and go, but the replacements are really good teachers too. The staff are friendly and the director, Meghan, is always helpful. I am overall pleased with the facility and would recommend it."

"Everyone is so nice and helpful. My daughter is in Mrs. Maria’s class, and she is learning Spanish at 4 yrs old. Her handwriting and spelling is improving as well. My daughter is excited to be apart of Kiddie Academy of Atascocita and never wants to leave."
