"Ironing board had no cover, all soaps/shampoos attached to the wall, conditioner bottle completely empty. Shampoo made my hair feel like straw. Breakfast was good. Not enough tables. Night staff made no eye contact or attempt to acknowledge our presence when we passed him at the front desk as we returned to our room at midnight. Room temp was good. Beds comfortable. Could have been better, could have been worse."
"Had a pleasant stay here while visiting some friends. Lobby was welcoming with plenty of seating areas with some outdoor seating space that seemed to be maintained well. Room was modern and all basic needs were met. No plumbing or drainage issues in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable enough. However, I probably won't stay here again unless I had a car. There are only 2 restaurants in walking distance from the hotel and they didn't seem too appealing. Additionally, many of my Uber drivers took the inside turning lane from the highway causing some confusion when having to make a right into the hotel property. Not much else to do in walking distance outside of the 2 restaurants, so if you're looking to explore by foot, this may not be the place. The staff were exceptional. Front Desk held my suitcase while my room was being made. The bar is very basic (beer and wine with very limited spirits); however, the employee working there was extremely kind and welcoming. I may stay here again knowing that I would be taken care of. And not holding this against them because it's simply Texas and it calls for these sorts of things, but just be warned that there are plenty of crickets who also enjoy their stay here. Many find their way inside the hotel lobby and plenty in surrounding entryways."
