"Very nice hotel. The shuttle driver Victor is amazing. Really goes above and beyond for hotel guests. The front desk personnel Lyla was super sweet and very friendly. This was my first overnight here. I hope to have more stays in the near and constant future. My room was clean, large, open, and very thought out. Everything had a purpose. From the kitchenette w/ the full-size fridge/freezer combo, dishwasher machine, and microwave. Very comfortable and appreciated personally as an aviation crew member. Thank you, Management and staff, for providing great customer service and a pleasant stay."

"This hotel was by far one of the worst ones, we have ever stayed at. The front staff did not greet us upon arrival and I saw many people who had to wait minutes to speak to somebody in the front desk as they were in the back room. We booked for a suite with 2 rooms and chose one of the rooms that has 2 queen beds. When we went into our room there was only 1 queen bed. We let the lady in the front know and she seemed to just brush us off and said they didn't have any rooms with 2 queen beds.Upon arrival we also noticed bugs in our kitchen. When housekeeping came we let them know and they tried to blame us saying that it was because we had food in the trash. We travel and stay at different hotels and not once have we had bugs in our rooms. The housekeeper let maintenance and instead of them offering us a different room, they offered to spray a chemical. We decided to go in the pool and use the grill but there was an employee who was watching our every move and made us feel very uncomfortable. Food was not great and they do not offer the RI mixer like they do at other Residence Inns. The hotel itself is very outdated. We decided to give this hotel a try since the one we usually stay at was all booked but will not be returning."

"I had a two bedroom suite and I don't think the second bedroom was cleaned. I didn't use it, so it didn't really matter, but it was odd. Service was good. Breakfast was decent. I like that they always had coffee and water available in the lobby."

"We traveled from Houston to Brownsville, a 6 hour drive. We arrived around 12:30am. Tired and ready to get settled into the room. This was the filthiest hotel I've ever been in. We do carry a black light when we travel and Clorox wipes. After examining this room, there was stuff on the carpet, couch, bed, bathroom and kitchen. It was too much to clean myself. The AC wasn't working nor the toilet. There was rust and mold in the shower and on the shower curtain. We called front desk and they offered to give us another room. We declined and called the Marriott Courtyard right next door. We finally got settled into a clean room around 1:30am."
