"Booking page says "Pet Friendly". This place wants $30 PER PET. Why dont you display that when i book the room? So deceptive! Shame on ya! [Update] I received a reply from the hotel stating that "[Site] states Pets are allowed on request. Charges may apply. ... I am sorry you did not understand" 1) Nowhere on the booking page you ask if I have pets. You ask about adults, kids, etc. If pets are material to you, why not let me to input that I have pets. 2) So I examined the site more carefully. They have a page AND a separate section for TAXES and FEES. None of these contain information about pets. The Pet Stuff is conveniently put into "Hotel Policies" section, NOWHERE IN THE FEES section. I understand perfectly well. You omit a FEE from the FEES section and blame it on me for not understanding. And this is why I will never stay at any of your establishments."
"I regret having to say this... The front office staff, minus one lady, were honest but we're lacking in terms of friendliness. In all fairness they were far btter than some other Best Westerns (like Galveston a few years ago: incredibly AWFUL!). The pool, elevator and the quality breakfast were not worth $60 more than elsewhere. The cook a high point and was quite pleasant. She was a high point. I'm sorry, but for the price, the entire front office staff should be overly courteous for what you are getting. I apologize for any perceived negativity, but I would not come here again for the inflated price, and they aught to know why. Kind regards."
"Thank you for displaying the Bible on a table in the sitting area of the lobby! It made my heart happy! Both women at the front desk (check in and check out) were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable for a good night’s sleep between long days on the road. Seminole is an interesting oil town that I would enjoy learning more of it’s history."
