"Great place to take the kids for hands on, one on one training for all age levels. They do an initial placement evaluation then work with the child weekly to improve their mechanical and robotics skills. Parking is hard during after school times, no fault of theirs. "I would like to first off say this program is one of the best I’ve ever been apart of and I would instantly recommend this to anyone I know. The pricing is absolutely phenomenal with quality teachers and once you get into it you can even set out to do competitions with a skilled and great team with great coaches and other children your age to learn with, build team working skills, and make amazing life long memories that you will forever cherish just as I have. They have many other programs as well including summer programs to learn various important topics that I will surely use later in my life. This program brought the amazing skill of coding to my footstep as I learned Java with wonderful instructors and a small group which helped me make friends and communicate with others even with the coronavirus pandemic. I loved my experience here and will definitely be coming again and wish a happy summer to all who were involved in my amazing summer experiences at kids robotics academy and hope to see you all once again this summer. "Kids Robotic Academy is the most structured, organized, and dedicated robotics education group that we ever attended. We can give 10 stars if Google allows. You can also tell by us driving from Katy tollway all the way every single time. :-) STEM education is very serious in this school, unlike some our past experiences of a daycare throwing in STEM as a surcharge. My son has been coming to KRA for almost a year. He has a strong interest in mechanical and programming so we are very serious about the choice of educators. We joined KRA last year for the same Thanksgiving camp and my son was really excited about the battle bot program. Later on we saw they have a very balanced and thorough curriculum. The staff are fun and responsible. They inspire kids (which I understand is way harder) instead of letting kids copy a trophy build to please the parents. Another good part is that the school also challenges kids on areas that they are not strong...engineers will need to talk and present, while natural talkers will need to know detailed technical ideas. We like the owner, his main coach, and every coach and teacher in the place. It's also very safe. The classroom has a heavy slide door to prevent kids accidentally run away. LOL."
