"My wife and I have grown kids, so we are unlikely to give a valid opinion about the playground, etc. But on the lower level thus park is an extremely quiet place to have a walk and a picnic. There are numerous picnic tables and a walking trail that winds around near the San Antonio River. Down on that level, the embankment shields you from the drone of traffic above and you can not only see the birds but hear them as well. The last time we went was January, so we only saw a handful if walkers, but we could hear children playing on the level above in the playground. Bottom line, a nice place to have a peaceful walk near the river."

"Wonderful park for walking your dog or having a picnic. Nice “take a book share a book” box in a benched area by the playground and pavilion."

"Try to go there every year with my kids. Like how it's secluded and super quiet. Not from the area but I'm always looking for places to explore while on trips."

"Love this park, we usually go to walk, but haven't utilized the camping or picnic areas as of yet, but will definitely use in the future. So this venture was pretty cool, they had the fall festival going on some good food, great activities even a hey ride gotta love that. Check out the pics a antique auto show as well, there is a covered pavilion restrooms throughout the park some beautiful old trees and grilling pits, personally I feel this is a great park for walking and nature observation, love photography do it here as well...but like always you check it out and decide for yourself."

"A hidden gem! Small but beautiful! Our neighbor canoes there and said the river does all the work (they just go for the ride). Can't wait to go back and just chill. Wish they had overnight camping."
