"This is a really sad gym :( Smells like an animal shelter in here, not including the bathrooms. Music is super loud and obtrusive Temperature is not regulated, causing a steamy and humid environment. Employees are friendly but choose to ignore a need for maintenance and cleanliness."

"Staff is friendly. Facility is clean. Gym has lots of equipment and plenty of space. Good layout. The indoor track is a nice touch. Kudos to the female custodian who works weekends. She’s always working diligently and it shows."

"As former employee I have noticed a decline in this gym. The machines , the cleanliness of the gym & how the staff treats customers. I guess everyone thinks there to good or if your old you can't work there. Also play the same movies over in the cardio cinema"

"There are only 2 things I find very annoying at this place. Seems like almost everyday (around 8a.m.), there is someone with there tripod, video taping their workouts with no regard to the people around them. On Friday, 2/22/23, there were 2 individuals with their tripods recording. Very rude and annoying. I wish that management or front desk would do something about this. The second is that sometimes the music is so loud at 7a.m. that I can't even hear my airpods because of the loud music. The gym has a gym rule sign on the wall but management does not enforce it. Per management, "it is important to strike a balance between allowing members to document their fitness journeys and maintaining a respectful and non disruptive gym environment for others." Why bother having a rules sign (no video taping), if management does not enforce it."

"Visited two days ago, looked around by myself, equipment looks great, got pricing info, left. Yesterday morning, I signed up online for a free day pass so I could come in, try it out, then sign up for a membership. I was even getting text messages when I signed up for the free day pass, that they would be expecting me when I arrive. Greeted by a really dense and defensive front desk person named Briana, who kept saying that I was not qualified for free day pass because I’ve already worked out there. I said that’s not possible, and she said “You said you were here yesterday though.” I had to explain multiple times that I came in yesterday, just looked around and left, but she was certain that I must’ve worked out because I was in the system. “The computer says you worked out here yesterday” and when I said that’s not possible unless they’re tracking me without consent, she continue to question me about yesterday’s visit. “You didn’t sign anything?” No I didn’t. “You must’ve scanned the QR code right?” When I said, no again, she took the sign with the QR code, spun it around and asked me again, “You didn’t scan this?”I even showed her the text I got one when I signed up for the free day pass this morning and she ignored it and said that’s not actually a person who’s texting me. I started to lose my patience because I was trying to sign up and she could not get over her own ego. When I pointed it out to her that if she wanted to figure out why I had an account, all she had to do was ask if I signed up for anything online at Gold‘s gym, which I did. For a free day pass before I was going to sign up for a membership. What a big waste of time, her explaining again and again and again why she was questioning me as she did, with her constantly interrupting me, telling me that I’m not letting her finish, and in general giving me one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. No volunteered apology, just tons of defensiveness. I was so angry, I left, drove to the closest gym, LA Fitness, worked out there for free and signed up for their membership that day. Gold Gym, work on your front desk. Maybe you’ll sign up more people that way. Briana, you need better customer training."
