"they have a strange loyalty to certain brands and when you read reviews of, for example, their floor jacks, you will find many reviewers talk of leaking oil. But they don't carry any other brands, soooo you pretty much can't get a floor jack there if you're savvy on this knowledge. Who knows how many other products this may apply to. I'd say skip these guys and shop elsewhere or online"

"Terrible customer service. Not one single employee in the entire store at 4pm except for the cashier. She was too busy texting on her phone. Had zero knowledge of where anything was. Very expensive anyway. Won't be back"

"I’ve stopped in a few times and always a pleasant experience, the employees are friendly, knowledgeable and eager to provide assistance when needed. There is a large variety of tools available and I’m always able to find what I need each visit, whether it’s hand tools, power tools or even larger equipment. I look forward to my next time in."

"Don’t even bother placing an online order with plans to do a curbside pickup. If they treat you like they treated me, they’ll tell you the only option is to go in the store, and when you walk in the store they’ll ignore you for a min and then stare at the register for 10mins. Either way, if you finally get their attention again and ask if someone is taking your 60lb box out for you, you’ll find out the person that was going to do that just walked away 5 seconds ago and they’ll “get to you soon”. So you can just carry out your own box, i was the only customer there when I walked in and still took over 15 mins to get my “curbside” order that was fully paid for and “ready for pick up”."

"The customer service here is horrible! Went in ready to buy a chainsaw and weed eater just had a few questions. Got completely ignored. One employee walked right by the aisle and never acknowledged me. There were several employees working that I saw when I walked in. Other than the one who walked by. They were all on one aisle on the other end of the store. 2 cashiers saw me standing on the main aisle needing help and completely ignored me. Now I understand why they only had a couple of customers. I don’t understand a business that doesn’t want to take your money when you’re trying to give it to them. Went to Home Depot And got what I needed. They were happy to take my money. I’ll never step foot in Northern tools again and will let everyone know why."
