"Ask for Allie!! I was in town visiting for the holiday and I hurt my back somehow. I was able to call last minute and get in for a Swedish massage with Allie. She was amazing and my back feels totally back to normal. If I lived here I would come as often as I can. It was both relaxing and “hurt so good” :) 4 stars because of the washroom area. Needed to be tidied up a bit."
"Although I decided to go ahead and tip the woman who did my facial, well, I did not really enjoy the experience. I have gotten better service for a lot less, but I did not want to complain since my sister was treating me. I had to keep asking what was she putting on me, and although I ordered a restorative facial, I did not get the massage. Alot of money and it seemed the girl was not very experienced. Definitely won't be back."
"I came here for a signature massage and had pretty high expectations from what I had read and saw. The spa is lovely and immerses you in a very zen-like experience. The hot water in the carafe was far from hot so I couldn't enjoy my herbal tea, but the retreat room itself is so peaceful and tranquil. My massage however, wasnt what I expected. The RMT started off using a mechanical massager on my body which was very uncomfortable and seemed out of place with the whole "relaxing" vibe. The massage itself allowed me to relax but hardly addressed any of my problem areas or really seemed cohesive. The strokes were inconsistent and seemed a little all over the place (especially on my back), the hot stones were not synchronized, and nothing seemed rhythmic. It honestly felt like I was having cream rubbed on my body. The pressure was way too light and when I asked for firmer pressure, it became slightly painful. I had to mention a few times to modify the pressure. If I do return in the future, I'm hoping I will have a better massage experience. Especially because I loved the spa atmosphere and do feel like it would be a great place to frequent."
