"My three star review has nothing to do with the staff or services. The ladies were awesome, greeting us with smiles and some lemon water. Atmosphere is calming. What was disturbing was the fact that a "service charge" is assessed which will go to the service provider for gratuity. I had already tipped one provider a generous tip before I knew about this. I would have still given her a tip, but maybe not as much. This policy needs to be shared up front. I realize some customers aren't appreciative and are skimpy on tips and that is unfortunate. But the gratuity policy needs to be up front IMO."

"A good massage (I would give 4 or 5 stars) but a price issue ruined the whole experience, hence 1 star. I left the spa feeling cheated instead of feeling nice and relaxed. I booked a deep tissue massage by phone and added an optional Aromatherapy oil on the day before the session started in the treatment room. The therapist said the oil costs $8. However, they charged $15 at check out. The receptionist confirmed that it is the correct price for Aromatherapy, saying she does not understand why the therapist said $8. If they try to lure you into buying an option by quoting cheaper price than the real price, taking advantage of the situation where no one else knows what price was quoted, then it is a wrong thing to do. As someone who had the same experience at another spa last year, I should have been more careful… Well, lesson learnt. I will never add an option in the room even if the therapist strongly insists which often happens."

"I had a uniquely bad experience with a facial here. I have a specific allergy which I indicated in writing on the form and which I told the facialist of verbally. Toward the end of the facial I repeated this information and she proceeded to put it on my face anyway, without my consent, telling me I needed it. I emailed the company about this and I never heard back. I have never had something like this happen. It was incredibly disappointed and I did have an allergic reaction. This Salon is not worth the expense."

"Very nice facility. Great location on the lake. Super nice people. If you are looking for a bargain, go to massage envy or your strip mall nail place. But if you want to be pampered and have a very realxing overall experience, go here, and just enjoy the luxury! By the way, Candace was very sweet, and does a ridiculously great hot stone massage. Thank you!"
