"The cakes are so good, the store itself is actually pretty small compared to Walmart or HEB. It’s more of like a small country town type of grocery store and I loved it. The atmosphere made me happy, like I was back in Piggly Wiggly grocery shopping with my grandma in South Carolina. Everyone that worked there was so nice. And completely understanding of the fact that my daughter decided to scream her head off in the store because she couldn’t get what she was grabbing."
"Come here often because I live in town. It's very convenient to have this store in Salado so I don't have to drive to Belton for a quick item. However, the strawberries and apples have been pretty bad every time I come in, and I don't think they are checking enough on expiration dates. Every time I have gone in, something I grab is expired so I always make sure to double check. It is also a little bit more pricey but saves gas money. Please also update your self checkout system to accept all payments, WIC included. I have been told it works and it never does (have to take my all bagged up groceries to the regular line to have them rescanned, very annoying!)"
