"I came here for shopping and lunch. I was really impressed with the grocery store over all. This was my first time being in there. The prices are amazing and the food is fresh. I got lunch, but it was at an off time like 2:30 p.m. on a Friday. They were out of barbacoa so I should have just not got anything but I got the carne asada. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was hands down the worst Taco I've ever had. It was so dry and overcooked and flavorless. My friend said the same thing. Now I would give it another chance because everybody we told that it was terrible, genuinely looked surprised. So I would like to try it again during normal lunch hours with barbacoa. I will say their flour tortilla was delicious."

"We love this store so much. It was our first time and it felt like home. So much culture and goodness packed into one location. The carnitas were delicious and so were the aguas frescas. The conchas were also some of the best we’ve had. We’ll definitely be back, and if we lived in Houston we would be there all the time."
