"The staff make this location exceptional. I actually live very much closer to another location but still shop here! I have lived in league city long enough that the other two nearby locations on 96 didn't exist years ago. This is my favorite. The staff are why I return. I don't experience the same friendliness at the other locations. I will forever shop here!"

"We only shop here when necessary but not anymore. The other night on my way home I would have had to drive past this grocery store and my house to get to a preferred store so I stopped in for a couple things. I let my guard down and made it home with expired items. I’m not talking a couple days I’m talking over a MONTH! If the smell isn’t enough to deter you from shopping here, then check everything. Check the dates on products, smell the meat, give the produce a twice over. Or better yet - just DON’T SHOP HERE. You’ll only end up bringing home expired food to your family."

"I want to give big shout out to Barbara In customer service. I left my wallet in the cart and left. I realized what I did about 10 later. I called the store and Barbara looked for it and found it. There are still good people in the world we live."

"My first and last visit, not what I have come to expect from a Krogers, will not return. The employees are polite, but do not shop here at night if you are buying more than a few items. Due to my schedule, I can only shop at night. I was buying a cart full of groceries at 10 PM, they do not close until 1 am, was 25% finished picking out my frozen goods when all the lights in the cases turned off at 10:33 pm, 2.5 hours before closing time. It was super dark, I could not see anything without opening each door (!) and even then it was still very difficult to see, it was hurting my eyes. I found an employee stocking near the registers and told him the lights went out and asked if he would turn them back on for me, I had a lot of items that I still needed from the cases. He refused to assist me; he told me they go off automatically at night and he could not help me. He did not offer to find and ask a manager for help. There is no signage stating a 10:30pm closing time for the frozen section; if there was, it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration, and this location would have had a higher rating and a new repeat customer. Also, there were 3 employees at the self registers when I had my full cart to check out and no signage stating they do not assist customers after 11pm. They were not busy, yet did not lift any heavy items for me or offer to help me check out, those employees also refused to help. Deceiving and useless to be "open" after 10 pm."
