"Ordered through Doordash and food came super fast! Food was well packaged. I ordered a veggie plate and a fried pork chop ala carte, the chop needed a little more seasoning but it was okay. The dirty rice was tasty, the sweet potatoes were horrible and hard...should have listened to the other reviewers. The red beans were not bad just needed rice as they didn't come with it, I'm assuming. The cabbage was average. I also ordered boudain balls and cornbread...both were good. Oh, and that's the fat of the pork chop in the plastic!"

"Went to get some cabbage and smoked Turkey necks to put in our blacked eyes peas. Picked up a couple of spicy pork boudin while I was there. . They have a full service meat market that makes all the smoked sausages, boudin, chops, etc. Prices compare to other markets. If you like fresh boudin, boudin stuffed pork chops or chicken breasts, this you need to try this place. Keith"

"I usually get dirty rice. It is delicious. The dirty rice has gotten a lot more expensive than when I first started to purchase it. The large pan is $48, but I needed it for a large gathering. The meat market is always busy but they manage to greet the customers friendly and timely."

"First time visiting this location. Matter of fact I haven't visited Pyburns since I was probably 8 years old and the store was located on South Post Oak. I was in town and on a mission for great meat prices. The parking lot isn't the biggest, but it's adequate. The moment I walked in, I was genuinely greeted. I immediately headed to the meat section looking for turkey wings. I found that and so much more! Being that I'm handling fresh meat I appreciate the grocery bags being readily available. I didn't notice any hand sanitizer or wipes, but maybe I missed them. The team working the nest counter are gracious and attentive. Every customer who walked up was acknowledged quickly. And one lady couldn't find what she needed, so the gentleman came out to help her. I needed more browsing time and they didn't rush me. I did browse the rest of the store. The produce is some of the prettiest I've seen around. The general grocery store has a fair selection of items. I'm thinking a quick trip versus full on shopping. Some prices are more than average, but that's normal for this size store. Overall, a great shopping experience. Mission accomplished."
