"Store is fine but getting the app to work is another story. I never have any luck getting the digital coupons to work at self checkout. Had to go around to customer service to get a refund. Plus I had to sign in to the app twice just to try to clip the coupon that didn’t work. With a company as large as Kroger you would think that they could hire a halfway decent IT person to fix the app!"

"I love this Kroger! So clean and stocked. Twice I needed something from a top shelf and before I could look around for help there was an employee with the item for me! All employees are so friendly and helpful. From being greated as I walked in to the very polite young man bagging my groceries carefully!"

"I would have given it only one star except this was only the second time that I was truly disappointed l. The first was with a flower purchase where they died almost overnight. Now, I purchased baked chicken parts that were so dry and overcooked they found their way into the garbage almost immediately. Add this to their higher prices in meats and fish makes me drive a little further for constant quality and freshness."

"Be prepared to spend more than you would want due to the vast waste of perfectly good fruits and vegetables, bread and baked goods that are a day past the date, that are supposed to be donated to the food banks but instead get thrown away because it's cheaper to do that. When you hear them call for "recycling", on the overhead speakers, there's no recycling going on there other than cardboard boxes. That's code for "the trash compactor is now open, bring all of your trash and dump it". I actually used to work there and would witness them throwing away thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of perfectly good produce because there was a brown spot on a banana or one fuzzy strawberry in a plastic quart package, they would throw the entire carton away versus just taking out the bad strawberry, cases upon cases of expensive pineapples all the way from Hawaii, who's only sin was that the leaves on the top were dry which is what you look for when purchasing a pineapple, because that means the sugars are the highest they're going to be. That means it's ripe. And lord forbid they have a avocado on the shelves that one can squeeze at all, because if you can squeeze them at all they throw them away, forcing you to buy green avocados and having them throw away thousands of dollars worth of perfectly good avocados on a regular, almost daily basis. I actually got a belly button hernia there throwing away cases of pineapple like my second or third day on the job. I didn't notice the marble size protrusion on my belly button until about 4 or 5 days after throwing out the cases of pineapple, when I felt a pop. Decided to watch it for a few days and if it got worse go to the doctor and it got worse so I went to the doctor and he said: "yes belly button hernia". Dr requested Lite Duty, they did not give me light duty, they just kept me doing the same job and refuse to pay a penny towards the surgery or even pay me while I was down for 6 weeks for recovery, because I didn't report it within the first 48 hours. Although my doctor says that generally speaking, people don't know they have a hernia within 48 hours, sometimes it takes months for the symptoms to get bad enough to be noticed. Also, I'm autistic (Asperger's) and the discrimination was over the top. The work environment can best be summed up as "TOXIC". Forever short staffed by design, labor cost. So go ahead and plan on doing about 10 or 12 hours worth of work in your 8-hour time slot if you're going to work there. Worst job I ever had. And I'm 57 years old, so that is saying something. Lol!"

"Moved to area 2 yrs ago & was 1st time going to Kroger. Loved it till recently. Right now it's more like Walmart. Only 1 checkout open unless you want to use self checkout. And the maned registers used to be full service. You walked your cart up & they took care of unloading, scanning & bagging. And always had plenty of cashiers. It was amazing. But they did away with that so back to unloading my own cart and 1 cashier. Turning into Walmart. Their customer service has plummeted drastically!!!! Heard an HEB is coming soon not far from Kroger. CAN'T HAPPEN SOON ENOUGH!!!!"
