"This feels like one of the last remaining true South Austin entertainment spots. We've attended a handful of special events and Adult Skate Nights over the years. Adult Skate is pretty chill, especially compared to the more crowded Playland up north. Other guests are generally friendly, eager to help, and kind to other skaters. If someone knocks you down, three more will skate over to help you up. It's refreshing to see adults of all ages having a good time. Adult Skate is BYOB - and that keeps us coming back, too. Front host staff is always super nice - another big win. Not so great stuff - there's not always a variety of music played. They often stick to one genre in a night. I'd love to skate to a mix of classics and new music in every genre. That's prob the the biggest bummer for me, and some of the arcade games, quarter machines, and drop claw games are often empty or out of service when we go. But, overall, it's a good time. Nice staff, friendly guests, good policies. Would love to see it get some extra love and upgrades in the future."

"Had lots of fun here for adult skate night. The place is just a bit run down and needs a deep cleaning. I guess some might think the grime adds to the retro charm but I left feeling kind of dirty. About every surface I touched was sticky, greasy, dusty, or just plain dirty. There also appeared to be some kind of leak in the corner of the rink? They kept the corner coned off and they had to keep wiping the floor. Despite all of this, I had a lot of fun with my friends. Cool atmosphere with skaters of all levels. I liked the music and lighting. The staff seemed nice enough and I got my skate rentals super quick."

"This was my second time at this place. Always fun! Does get hot inside though but otherwise still a fun time. I love that they have adult nights too."

"Friday adult night's vibe was relaxed. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. It honestly reminded me of how skating used to be where you could approach anyone to skate. Music could be better but it's actually better than some other places I've been around the country. The staff and patrons were nice. The seating areas were creative. I suppose that's because the building was repurposed to be a skating rink. The floor is not wooden but it provided grip for me even though my wheels are harder (slipperier) than most wheels. I look forward to going back."
