"Update: I’m not in here to argue with an owner who is rude to everyone who has a bad visit. (Just read her responses to me and others who haven’t had a good experience.) I do not “feel” like I had a bad experience. I did have a bad experience but as always make it the consumers fault. You said you rolled back video. If this is true, then you saw me and my wife not be greeted or helped until I approached the counter. (The lady who came off her lunch to get oil for her food but never stopped to help us.) How do you know if they were rude when audio is not recorded or were you there? I think it’s interesting that you are making an issue out of me trying to save $3 on a refill when I never mentioned $3 off to anyone, we just wanted to reuse the bottles we already had. If you have a policy on refills or sizes it would be nice if it was clear. Maybe you thought I was challenged financially because I was wearing a basketball hat and a shirt with an athlete on it. Maybe you misjudged your consumer. Just a little advice from a fellow business person: treat all your customers better in your shop and take all feedback as an opportunity to grow and change rather than just calling people liars. This was our second visit to this store into because love the vinegar, but no one acknowledged us until we asked about help (after we were there for a while). We were the only ones in the store. The sales lady told us she was under the weather and that’s why she wasn’t being friendly. The other lady (who was rude) told us she thought the one that was sick was helping us and she was at lunch. We had brought clean and dry bottles to refill. We were informed (after asking) that they only refill the bigger bottles, and will only refill bottles purchased from their store. However, the only policy posted was that bottles should be clean and dry. The ladies working agreed that it wasn’t posted anywhere, just that it was the owners policy. Just seems a little shady compared to the other oil and vinegar places we found nearby. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere. Looks like anytime you can’t service your customers and they critique you, you slander and become accusatory. It’s ok for me we found a much better place and actually ended up spending about $50 in there. Oh and they let us fill up your bottles as well. You gotta stop acting like you’re the only business out there doing this. There are many with the same product you are selling but they are not treating there clientele like bums and then acting like they are completely better than their customer. I know you’ll come back with all kinds of things to accuse me with but truth is I just wanted vinegars to cook with and what I got was an arrogant, conceited business with an egotistical owner."

"Frustrated that when a shop advertises closing at 6PM and you get there at 10-til 6 to refill your bottles they have the door blocked with a paper saying “we close at 6”. Two girls inside both closing down early and refusing to make eye contact through the window. I knew exactly what bottles I wanted and was just trying to get a refill. I would even understand if it was 6:00 or 6:01, but at 5:50 on a busy night during Christmas season this is inexcusable. Edit for the owner below since I can’t reply: This was today, 12/6/23. There were potted olive trees blocking the entry way with the door closed and sign on the door. You couldn’t even get to the door because the trees had been moved into the doorway to block the entry. I tried standing in the window for a minute and waving at the employees but was ignored."

"Grapevine Olive Company has a deal where you return with your clean empty bottle to be refilled for $3.00 discount - this is directly off the web site, "When your bottle from Grapevine Olive Oil Co. is empty, wash and let it dry it completely. Bring your clean bottle back to the store and we will refill your bottle (375ml or 750ml sizes only) and discount the original price by $3.00." Mid-summer 2023 I visited the Grapevine Olive Oil Company to have two olive oil bottles refilled. I was informed my bottles were not clean as they still had oil residue. I ask what is the best cleaning method. I was informed to wash twice in the dishwasher and use a hair dryer or cleaning brush to complete the cleaning. I did so and returned to the store with my two bottles. After inspection I was informed my bottles were not clean enough. I explained what transpired previously and what cleaning method I used. "Sorry", I was told. I was also asked if I wanted them to discard my bottles and purchase new bottles. Obviously I said, "no" and left the store. I waited a couple weeks and without any additional cleaning I returned to the store with my two bottles. After inspection I was informed my bottles looked extremely clean and they were both refilled. In early fall I followed the same cleaning process and basically went through the same experience which was frustrating. Today (Wednesday November 15th I returned to the store with the same two bottles. I had washed the bottles twice in the dishwasher and used a hair dryer to ensure all the residue was removed. Once again, after inspection I was once again informed my two bottles were not clean. They both were as clean as the previous two visits. I questioned the cleaning process but was never given a real answer. I was ask if I wanted to leave the bottles with them, yet I would not get the $3.00 discount. Hmmmmm. Really??? This gimmick is to get you into the store, refuse your bottle(s) and hope you will just buy new. I will never ever buy anything new in that store, but I will hold them accountable to their advertisement."

"The olive oils and balsamic vinegars in this shop are delicious. I like how they give you an opportunity to sample them before you purchase. I have seven bottles at home right now. I love combining different variations of the two on my salads. I drizzle the butter olive oil on my popcorn, and use the olive oils in almost everything I cook. There are so many delicious flavors to choose from! I am attaching pics of a few of my favorites."
