"This place is ok. Parking can be confusing but once you figure it out it's pretty simple. Be prepared for a wait to leave though, the parking garage gets backed up. Or pay for valet, you'll be able to leave faster that way."

"The Bayou Music Center is a pretty great venue all-in-all. I got to see a favorite band of mine perform, the stage setup was great, and the acoustics were fantastic. The only problem I have is more with how things were handled in terms of letting people into the venue, and the ticketing. When I arrived, about 30 minutes before the show was about to start, the line for entry was wrapped around the (absolutely massive) building. There were a bunch of staff standing around upselling “fast passes” to skip the line. $25 a pop. Me and my friend decided we just wanted to get in there, so we bought the fast passes. We go back around the building, and there doesn’t seem to be any sort of fast pass line or anything like that. So we ask a staff member there at the entrance where to go to redeem our fast passes. He just told us to cut everyone in the main line! There was no fast pass entrance. There was no one even checking for fast passes! Not only was it a total scam, but it can also potentially put guests to the venue in uncomfortable situations. I’ve seen plenty of people get extremely angry when someone cuts in line. So, if someone doesn’t realize you have some basically nonsensical “fast pass,” you could find yourself in a fight. I’d go to the venue again, but the entrance and ticketing stuff is a total joke."

"Nifty little area. Holds more people than the exterior suggests. Accommodations are present. The venue itself is pretty clean. The seats cushions are fairly appointed. A decent place to take your family based on the appropriateness of the show. Highly recommend valet if you are bringing your own personal vehicle."
