"Season starts up later in the spring. Venue itself looks amazing with lots of covered seating or freebie or reduced price seating on the hill adjacent. Large stage area for hosting large events."

"I enjoyed our experience, and I look forward to their next season of free shows. Under the roof nearer to the stage is even better, which sometimes requires RSVP but not always required, and we went down there at intermission despite RSVP required for that show since so many open seats. Up on the hill was fine minus little kids running everywhere. Please get some uniformed armed-security for everywhere around there to prevent any radicalized person from causing harm. I was shocked to not see any uniformed police officers or security who would protect us in a nightmare scenario. It was concerning. Hopefully the new mayor allocates the resources to guarantee our safety at an open place like this, and this theater takes Public Safety seriously. Even if there was undercover security, uniformed officers would be a calming presence and prevention tool. Oct21.2023 was my date."

"My family saw the Beijing Dance Company perform. It was so beautiful and vibrant and emotion. They literally performed three poems through dance with numerous levels of music & effects, and the lighting and stage sets were captivating. My eyes, ears, and mind were glued to the performance start to end. I am so happy my daughter had this amazing experience. She wanted to video tape the entire performance so she could enjoy it again later. Bravo!"

"I had a wonderful time watching the Houston Symphony Orchestra and fireworks at Miller Outdoor Theatre on 4th of July. The theatre is located in Hermann Park, a beautiful green space in the heart of Houston. The theatre offers free performances of various genres, from music and dance to theatre and opera. The theatre has a large covered seating area, as well as a spacious lawn where you can bring your own blankets and chairs. The theatre also has a concession stand and restrooms for your convenience. The performance was amazing, with the orchestra playing patriotic tunes and classical favorites. The sound quality was excellent, and the audience was enthusiastic and respectful. The fireworks show was spectacular, with colorful bursts of light and sound filling the sky. It was a perfect way to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends. I would definitely recommend visiting Miller Outdoor Theatre if you’re looking for a fun and affordable cultural experience in Houston."

"Been in Houston about 16 months and hadn’t heard about the Miller. I’m glad to have discovered this past weekend. We got to see 2 great concerts on Fri and Sat, all for free! The staff here is professional and courteous. The parking was not bad at all. I prefer sitting under the overhang vs on the lawn. Definitely will be returning for some future events during their 100 year celebration."
