"Sad that it took me this long to stop in. I have lived in the area for 3 years + and today was the first time I went in. Great staples from my Island background an be found here. Worth the visit, I will be back!"

"No matter what you do don’t visit this place. I dont usually do reviews but I had to. I’ve never been disrespected like that before. First of all when I went in the ac wasn’t working, so this means I was hot and sweating the entire time and the frozen food they had was already starting to thaw. The guys in there were helpful, especially the person behind the meat counter. They didn’t have a huge selection. The lady at the cash register is so rude. First incident I went to her to ask for habanero pepper. Her response “you don’t see it there? All the pepper back there you’re asking me”. I’m used to African aunts being like this so I laughed it off and told her only bell peppers were left. She checked and confirmed and asked someone to help me. They didn’t have any habaneros or most of the items I went for. I still decided to support and buy items. I went up to the counter and told her I had a bag of rice in my cart. It was too heavy, their counter is high so off course I can’t pick it up. Like we do Walmart or anywhere something is too heavy, you simply tell the cashier. I put my other items up for her to ring. She asked me if I had a box to indome I don’t even know what that is so I told her no. After she rang me up the total was 110, I was a little surprise because I expected to spend atleast 150. I even told her I expected to spend more. While walking out of the store she starts to yell. Come back here! You didn’t pay for your rice! Come back! I’m confused so I’m looking around. The line is long and everyone is looking at me as if I’m stealing. Now I’m embarrassed and shocked. I walk back and ask why is she yelling at me and why she didn’t ring the rice when I told her and that’s the first thing I told her. Her response “oh well I didn’t hear you”. No apology. That’s it “o well she didn’t hear me”. I paid over 100 dollars for items I didn’t even need and you think I’m stealing 11 dollars bag of rice ? At that point I really wish I had put everything back and asked for a refund. You don’t treat people like that! I will never go back to that store or recommend anyone else to do so. How can you treat a paying customer like that ?"

"Very rude set of people. A customer fell in a hole that was exposed on their floor. No one came to her aid. No empathy on part of the owner."

"Very rude over the phone when I called to make an inquiry about the price of Indomie. Maybe one day our people will learn the value of good customer service."
