"How amazing architecture of this Waterwall! Loved this place. Visited at night and day for different views. Perfect for shooting of a film! No wonder why Bollywood film song was shot here! Must visit when In Houston! Definitely recommend!!!"
"One of the Must visit, top 10 recommended, less time consuming tourist attraction in Houston. The views are mesmerizing, suggest to visit on weekday if possible to avoid crowd. There's only a single spot to take good photos. It is located close to Galleria Shopping mall and Downtown. Maximum 20 minutes can be spent here as nothing much to see here except waterwall. Paid parking garage is located close ,as of Dec 2023 its $5/hr"
"This morning, my friend and I took our visiting college classmate to the Gerald D. Hines Waterfall in Houston, TX. We were excited to show her this iconic Houston landmark, and we were not disappointed! The weather was perfect for a visit to the waterfall - sunny and warm, with a slight breeze. When we arrived, we were amazed by the sheer size and beauty of the waterfall. It is truly a sight to behold! We spent some time walking around the perimeter of the waterfall, taking pictures and enjoying the view. We also ventured behind the waterfall, which was a lot of fun. The mist from the waterfall was refreshing, and it made for some great photo opportunities. Our classmate was blown away by the waterfall. She said that she had never seen anything like it before. She was especially impressed by the way that the water cascaded down the wall, creating a mesmerizing effect. We also enjoyed the park that surrounds the waterfall. There are plenty of places to sit and relax, or to take a walk and enjoy the scenery. The park is also home to a variety of plants and flowers, which made it a beautiful place to visit. Our overall experience at the Gerald D. Hines Waterfall was wonderful. It is a great place to visit with friends and family, and it is a must-see for any visitor to Houston. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique experience."
"When I first heard about this place, I admit I had my reservations, thinking it might be just another mundane city waterfall. However, the waterfall park pleasantly surprised me; it turned out to be far nicer than I expected and exceeded my expectations. This serene oasis has garnered praise from many, and I'm no exception. The sound of the cascading water is soothing and therapeutic, and the way it gracefully moves is mesmerizing. It also offers great photo-worthy allure. Pro tip: if you're an iPhone user, be sure to enable “Live Photo” mode to capture the animation of the waterfall in your pictures; it creates a delightful effect. In addition to the waterfall's charm, the park boasts a vast lawn/green area, that can be great for kids to play and have a blast throwing a ball or a frisbee, or an ideal spot for a relaxing picnic. Regardless of your age, you'll find something to enjoy here. There are several park benches that line the perimeter of the green area as well. They offer a much-needed reprieve from the Texas heat, with the shade from the surrounding trees providing cool comfort, if you are visiting in the summer. Parking is also convenient with two parking decks nearby and costs approximately $5/hour. The waterfall architecture and design, recreational options, and tranquility make this a worthy destination. Plan a visit; you won't be disappointed. Just be sure to check the hours of operation. When I visited in September they closed at 9pm."
