"Great place to do serious bike training, flat never too crowed, can stay near Barker Dam or it also connects to Terry Hershey Park, which is more crowded."

"Highly HIGHLY recommend that if you plan on playing volleyball get there early. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and other people will let you join. Bathrooms are a bit dirty so be cautious. If you’re trying to play basketball though it seems fairly open, there’s also a trail that I’ve seen people bike/run."

"This a perfect stopping point between my favorite two large cycling/running spots, over the bridge puts you in George Bush Park, south takes you to Terry Hershe park. End to end they are about 20miles and this park is a favorite to break and rehydrate. The Police department sits right here too so it is plenty safe to let your guard down and cool off. I am glad it's here."

"Excellent place to park while biking the paved Trails on the outskirts of Bush Park. Various amenities include, bathrooms and picnic tables, volleyball and basketball courts. Watch out for wildlife! Do not feed them! Could be a deer or maybe wild hogs. Plenty of Birds to watch too! Rules posted in pics. Enjoy!"

"A very nice park with lights. The park is open till midnight from 7 am. It has a nice rest room and two gazebo's. Its right next to police station...so it is very safe. I liked the bike trail next to it. Went for a walk for about an hour... beautiful breeze all throughout... The crowd is very diverse in age...watched couple of games of volleyball...."
