"I honestly think I should get refunded after what I experienced from this place. The nails she did were pretty good, the design and all I’ll give her that, but she was so rough when it came to filing I was flinching with almost each nail, she filed so hard that it sliced the side and under my nail open. I’ve been in so much pain for the past two days not being able to grab anything because my finger is so swollen and possibly infected. I’d also like to mention that she had to redo my nail because there was a hair stuck in the middle of it, the place seems like it’s very unhygienic when it comes to keeping the tools and area clean. Really disappointed."
"I really didn’t want to have to do this, but after thinking about it for a few days, I just had to. Until Tuesday 11/7/23, I had only been here a few times in the last few years, and only to get a pedicure. Well after many years of not wearing acrylic nails, I decided that this time along with my pedicure I would get a brand new set of nails. So as soon as I walk in and ask for services, I told Judy that I wanted black polish for both. So she proceeded to go get some black powder to do dipped nails, even though that’s not what I asked for, and she bother to even ask me if I wanted dipped nails. So I told her that I only wanted regular nails and regular polish, but she’s beyond pushy, and even after me saying it a few times, she just would not let it go. It was to the point that I was felt very uncomfortable after only being there for about 5 mins. I wish that I would just left, but it’s the only nail salon that I’m familiar with in Bedford, so I figured why not just let her do her thing and hope for the best. Of course dipped nails cost more than regular nails do. The whole time she was doing my nails she made zero conversation with me, but she was definitely talking negative about me. It was in Vietnamese of course, and the only time that she spoke to her coworker was when I kept saying no to dipped nails, and again when I finally gave in and agreed to them. It’s the worst and sloppiest set of nails that I’ve ever had in 25+ years. One index finger slants to left, several nails have noticed gaps on the sides of them, a few still need to be filled and cleaned up underneath, and I left with visible black residue all around my nails, even though her coworker claimed to have cleaned them up when she was done with my pedicure. Since I had never had dipped nails done before and was not familiar with the process, I attempted to ask a few questions during the process, and Judy was beyond rude every single time and might as well just told me to shut my mouth. Not only do my nails suck, but the entire experience was the worst that I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I could have spoken up of course, but I already knew that it would do no good at and would only make me feel more uncomfortable than I already did. So then it was time for my pedicure, and I was very clear with that lady that I only wanted polish. She was just as pushy as Judy. I had I already said no to gel nails at least 3 times, but half way through, she tried to push them on me again, and made feel like she thought that I’m an idiot for not wanting them. The pedicure is not as bad as my nails are, but it’s definitely the worst quality that I’ve had done there. That lady also made zero conversion with me, and just like Judy, she only spoke to Judy, in Vietnamese, each time that I refused the gel nails. They were the only two working when I was there. Needless to say, I will never go back to this business again, so please don’t even patronize me with a reply that if I come back, you’ll fix for free. Judy has absolutely no business doing nails or any job at all that requires even average respect or customer service skills. I’ll be sure to share my experience with my son and daughter in law, since I know they had been there themselves. I will also share this in my neighborhood Facebook group and I will continue to warn everyone I know that they should NOT ever give this place their money. Edit: I forgot to mention that they never offered me a drink or greeted me, and Judy hurt me several while doing my fingernails."
"I absolutely would not recommend them to anyone that wants quality work on their nails. I went in for coffin-shaped acrylics and the owner Kim told me to sit down and she would start. I was confused because there were several other women ahead of me, and they understandably got upset when she told me she was ready for me upon walk in and ignored them. It very much appeared to be a racial bias, which made me extremely uneasy. During my visit, another woman was displeased with her nails, and the owner yelled at her. Kim screwed up my nails several times, and even had to wipe the acrylic off and start again because her tools were not clean and they were tracking what seem to be dust or dirt through the acrylic. I was unhappy, but she said it would not be noticeable once she filed. When she began painting, she left very Jagged edges and several spots of the nail that were missing paint. When she did not cover those spots with a second coat, I noticed one of the nails did not have acrylic at the edge, and the natural nail was exposed in a very untidy way. I asked her if she could fix it, and she blew up at me! She started yelling about how she would take my nails off and I could go somewhere else, and I just explained to her that I just wanted the one spot of acrylic filled. She took the nail polish off, and I noticed the acrylic had bubbles in almost all of the nails. I asked her why they were Bubbles, and she said she didn't in accusatory tone that implies she thought I was responsible for the bubble placement! I asked her how we could fix the bubbles, and she grabbed the nail trimmers and said she would cut my acrylics off since I was unhappy with them, and yelled at me as I pulled my hand away. I told her if she would just fix the acrylic I would paint them at home, and she told me to go somewhere else since I obviously was not paying. I had every intention to pay, but she wouldn't listen to it, and started screaming about how there were cameras that showed I was happy with my nails. I left with jagged and uneven edges on a full set, with unfiled debris under the nail. Needless to say, I will never go back to this Salon again. I knew from previous visits at the quality of work was not great, but after this I would not go back if they were the last nail salon in existence."
"I went in to get a pedicure and powder full set. The powder set was $35, but I chose a metallic color that made it $45. I don’t remember being greeted by the lady who did my mani/pedi. So they were not the most welcoming. But they weren’t rude either, but could’ve been better as a business. The experience was good. Only complaint I have is that I got my nails done Wednesday, it is now Monday and since she started my nails further away from my cuticles they already look like they’re growing out. Also I don’t think she put the metallic color on completely and it looks like my thumb nail started to chip. I already put another clear coat on top and it didn’t make it better since it’s so chipped already. The pedicure is probably what I’ll go back and get, $20 for basic and it’s great. My toe nails need another clear coat as well, because they are starting to chip on the edges too. And it’s been cold so they’ve been protected. Hope this was helpful!"
