"Dasher's Lightshow at Sam Houston Race Park. Open mid November til Dec. 31st. Tix available on-site and online (discounted). Tix were $10 pp. Turned headlights off, tuned into designated radio station, and drove through the lightshow. Twice. I loved the Christmas music that coordinated with the lights, esp Candy Cane Lane by Sia. We opened the sunroof and enjoyed the show al fresco. It was great! God willing, we'll definitely return next Christmas and bring more family and friends!"
"I purchased tickets online for almost $35 for 3 people. The lights are ok, not too attractive but the good thing was the lights matched the music playing on the radio Fm. My kids were really bored and so us. Not worth spending $40. Their idea was good but wish they had some good ideas for decoration. We went on 25 th December, only 2-3 cars were there so we were able to finish everything in just 10 minutes. The place was also not dark enough for the lights"
"SHRP is so much fun! I love sitting at the Winner’s Circle Restaurant for the best seats in the house. Buffet serves a hearty delicious spread. Nothing like the sound of hooves pouncing the earth to the finish line. Priceless sight!!!❤️"
"Was invited to a private event in the Finish Line Suite and had a great time. It's a good spot to take clients or network. Everyone in this group had a blast. There were a lot of first timers that have never been to the race park. Food was good, although a little dry. Was a buffet with bbq chicken, chopped brisket, veggies, and sides. Our event included drinks, and the bar was conveniently located outside our suite. All the workers were very friendly and greeted us or had small conversations. There were 2 betting computers in our suite and a cash out not too far away. Makes it easy to bet on horses during our event."
"Nice place to spend a day. Large air-conditioned sitting stage. Prices for food and drinks are good. All the employees I spoke to have been very friendly. Camel and ostrich runs were especially great today. Pony riding and a petting zoo were also offered for children"
