"I’ve known this place for over 20 years and it’s always been a cheap and convenient place to have a taco. However, the quality of the food has declined considerably within the past few years. Furthermore, the customer service has also suffered greatly within the past few years. Cashiers and store manager have become extremely rude and disrespectful."

"Steves Food Mart has its local resident followers and I am one of them. Breakfast and lunch tacos are pretty good. Long lines circle the aisles, so come prepared. Overall, I say come and taste for yourself."

"Great tacos for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The line can sometimes get long for the food but the servers are quick and professional as they move the orders along. The tacos are well filled and delicious. The beer selection is better than most convenience stores and even their craft beer selection is plentiful. Definitely one of the hidden jems of Harlingen."
